An effective running game will be important.

It bring play action into play and makes their pass rush hesitate for a second or 2. That's huge because they have an excellent pass rush

Not going to happen this game. The Vikes are going to sell out to stop the run and force Rush to beat them. Our only chance is a lot of short passes and a very high YAC total. Throw a handfull of 5 yard passes to Pollard and Lamb in space and see what he can do with them. Those type of plays are our only shot unless Cousins gets injured early.

Ground and pound only works if you have a quality QB to beat the defense. With Rush starting, the Vikes will totally sell out to stop the run. And Zeke is not the Zeke of 5 years ago. You can bet he will get stuffed lots of times.

Looks like Collins coming back could be going in for Williams and McGovern as FB. Just smash the living crap out of them over and over. Wear them down. Run it down there throats. Keep hammering. If we are breaking off 4 or 5 yards a carry then go for it. Let the QB play action. Don’t matter who it is playing QB. But I would suggest airing it our a few times..

They will stack the box and force the QB to throw it against that front. They also have a terrific pass rush so this might be the last time we see Cooper Rush, who will likely see the end of his career on Haloween.

Should be able to, but if Dak isnt playing you will see 10 men in the box. And once Minnesota gets up we will be forced to throw more. I have zero confidence in Cooper Rush.

Yeah, play against their strengths. They did enough against their passing game and pressured Murray without letting him gash them on the ground.

Hopkins had no business playing in that game, hopefully Prescott is closer to 100% than Hopkins was going into kickoff.

I think it's pretty obvious that is the plan. I'm not even concerned if Minny is picking up on this. It's not like they can do anything about it. Our O-line is legit now with La'el back. I'm only concerned about our new center who is a bit light in the britches.
