No. He might work short term but he wears on ya. We need a young guy that's highly credible with today's players and schemes. The new guy will also need to be a task Master that can get the best out of what he has. I like our dline coach Jeff Zgonnia. He's like Dan Campbell. Played in this league for a long time and won a ring. He has cred! I'd hire him as the next HC or the next DC.

Well, if Dallas has to hire a retread, I wouldn’t mind Gruden. He isn’t ancient yet

I could see a 3-4 year deal to try and salvage this offense. His contract coincides along with Dak’s and Dallas could start fresh with a new HC and a QB in a few years. Hopefully, starting with Manning

I’d much rather have Nick Saban. Cowboys need somebody who is intimidating, holds players accountable and who demands discipline. Saban knows how to evaluate player talent.

I'd be all about Gruden. He's the kind of personality we need. However, I'm pretty sure the league has blackballed him for using "hurtful words" so there's likely 0% chance of him coming here.

I don't know what's with the gruden hate. He was a great coach. Most of his players really like him. He was doing a good job with the raiders and they were turning it around before the email leaks. I liked the fact that he didn't tolerate crap and sent players like Amari packing for sand bagging. Now if you want to make an argument of not hiring because of what he said in those emails that's another story. But make no mistake, if the cowboyscwere serious about winning gruden is a great choice.

He has a no nonsense style that MM lacks and would bring some attitude and focus to the team.

I've been hoping for Gruden for 2 years now. His rehab is complete.

Gruden has been blackballed no way can he get a job now. Emails he sent are not good. He couldnt get along with Al Davis you think he's going to get along with Jerry?

Gruden not that good of a HC, check out his record, he has 1 SB title same as McCarthy but Grudens record is barely above avg
