I don't know if I'd want Gruden for a coach, but I'd sure like to go out drinking with him.

Calm down bro, Gruden is married.

Gruden is awesome man...

Me and my buddies ran into him in Baltimore last year..at the local hooters..he was there with the rest of the MNF crew..he was lit off his you know what...great guy..very down to earth, very cool...

He said at the time that he was itching to get back on the sidelines

He has a great PR side to him. Can turn it on and off in a heartbeat.

Any body that likes Hooters. Is okay by me.

I may be the minority here, but I hate listening to Gruden commentate. To me, it sounds like he tries too hard to annunciate and sound like a commentator. I think for being a coach, his analysis is sometimes lacking/generic.

Or you just might be drunk all the time and think he is over-enunciating.

Beware to not let him get you drunk.

I like Gruden. If I wouldn't have been dead asleep, I would have check out the game tonight to hear him getting excited.

I remember a game a while back, Jaws told him to sit down in the booth. Guess he was getting far too amped for Jaws to handle.

But he would bring an energy to the team during the games we seem to miss on Wade being there.

I like Gruden but I don't think he is as great of a coach as some seem to think. Yes he won a SB but much like Switzer it could be said Dungy built that team after the SB Tampa went 7-9, 5-11, 11-5, 4-12, 9-7 and 9-7. Sorry if people put the same demands on Gruden as they do Wade then how can anyone claim him to be some great coach? Again fiery is not what makes a coach

Like many I like listening to Gruden but I think there is this false belief that he is this top notch HC and his record does not prove that. If he was held to the same standard that Wade is then Gruden would not last in Dallas his record is not that good.

I'd love to be able to sit down for a week with him and have him explain the nuances of a game to me. Hell, I'd happily put down $3500 to sit in a class of 40 people for 8 hours a day for a week to get the info someone like an NFL headcoach has rolling around in their noodle.

Probably a business opportunity for an industrious soul, if they could get the right coach willing to work for cheap like that or for the love of teaching.
