Alright, we are days away...who is getting this gaming epic? Who can I look forward to pwning online?

I don't think I have ever wanted a game more than this one. GTA3 absolutely blew my mind when it came out. The open world format was something I had never experienced or expected from a game, and it seems like with GTA IV they have broke the mold. 16 player online (with race modes as well as deathmatch variations) , a huge city to explore with individually named streets, 4 of the 5 boroughs of New York fictionally and satirically recreated, an epic story mode which is estimated to take at least 20 hours to finish...

Tuesday cant get here quick enough!!

Edit: can I get some caps on this? GTA IV is a video game, Gta Iv seems like drunken rambling no one will ever read.

oh yah i am, i got gta3 when i had my first knee surgery boy did that help pass the time, i think i played it for 3 weeks straight, can't wait to pick it up for my 360

I'm interested to see how the online play works. I love the GTA series, but I hope the online play isn't stupid. That can make or break a game nowadays. If you have online play and it's done poorly, it can make it seem worse than a game with no online IMO.

But I'll def. be getting it. Just not on Tuesday.

I hate the fact that it went "online". That basically means the standard, or "campaign" gameplay is going to suck...and will be far too short.

Don't worry man, reviews have been saying it's the best story out of all the GTA's.

Online Multiplayer is basically a bonus.

but the way they did it, they didn't gimp the multiplayer. the multiplayer could be worth $60 by itself

Word. That's good to hear. I've been disappointed before by titles that I once loved, that turned to poo when they went to an online oriented format. The GTA series would be the biggest disappointment of them all.
