Guarantees for tomorrow's game

Happy pre-b'day coach.

I predict there will b way to much *****ing afterwards, no matter how the game goes.

Guarantees...

1) At some point, Julius Jones will get dropped for a loss or no gain. This will spawn yet another "Let's start Barber!" thread that will last 2+ pages.

2) Romo will throw a couple bad passes. This will lead to tears shed on this board over passing on Brady Quinn.

3) Manning will move the ball on us without a ton of pressure in his face, due to the vanilla looks we throw out in the 1st preseason game. Nevertheless, the Chicken Littles will be out in full force, crying about how we STILL can't generate a pass-rush and our secondary is awful.

4) A good performance will have us in the Super Bowl... a poor performance will have us with 2 top 10 picks in the '08 draft.

At least one poster here will complain the Cowboys will suck if we don't get a first down on the first drive.

At least one poster will call Roy over-rated.

at least ten will take issue with it.

My guarantee is that if Romo has a bad series, karter will come on and say if only.....

:laugh2:

Television commentators will mention Parcells' name at least once during every quarter. And at halftime. And during the post-game interviews. Shoot, during pre-game warmups...

So, 7 times in all? Is that your guess?

:lmao2:

I guarantee Winicki will be saying to himself "I sure wish I still had Bledsoe to kick around."

I also guarantee Sarge will be closely watching Spears.

And that Hostile will be taking snapshots for his qb mechanic lectures.:)

You forgot the part where I said, "At least". ;)

Cool! So now what is your estimation of how many times Parcells name will come up?

:laugh2:

Here are a few predictions for tomorrow night:

Manning will look sharp against our defense for the few snaps he's in... prompting chicken littles everywhere to run around the roost in panic.

Our second string guys will beat their second string guys.

Ratliff will give their OLine fits (so would've Hatcher if he weren't out with his hamstring).

Leonard Davis will open holes in the running game. (I know he's a starter)

Burnett and Carpenter will show some really good things against their backup offense.

Joey Thomas will play the ball well most of the time and likely will get one downfield penalty.

Marion Barber and Tyson Thompson will gain some good yards.

Hurd and Crayton will catch a few balls between them.

Nick Folk will hit a medium-long to long FG solidly to take the lead in the fg comp.

Once will be one time too many.

I Guarantee us diehard fans will have a big grin on our face before kick off because while this is a meaningless game it is still the Dallas Cowboys and we know the season is getting closer.
:hammer:

There'll be plenty of cramps, and Joe Buck will delight in bringing up the Pickle Juice game.

(As said yesterday, after the mildest summer ever for June and July, it's now REALLY hot.)

Sheep will overreact if we win; shout "don't worry, it's early" if we lose. All the bases are covered.

Colts first drive will be three and out.

On the first drive, Romo will march the team down for a quick touchdown.

Tyson Thompson returns a kickoff for a touchdown.

I will have a 6 pack and pizza.

Guaranteed.

WORD CO SIGN

Talking about sheep...a leg of lamb sounds real good! If you know how to cook it...
