Guarding the receiver after the catch

So now we had two big plays already in which another player (one time an O liner!) saved a fumble from a receiver. Has this happened before that often? I mean it's cool that a tight end kinda guards the ball carrierer even deeper down the field, but a heavy o liner coming down and saving your arse? That's super cool and I wonder if Mike has directed this beforehand?

If this is regular NFL tactics then I haven't said a word, but it kinda fits the "all for one and one for all" spirit this team has to ride in order to win it all. Germany won the soccer world cup in 2014 without any major stars yet they (literally lol) bled for each other on the field. These plays kinda reminded me of that. Eat grass for your teammate, no matter what your regular position is.

We have seen it before. They get tackled from behind and lose the ball. So frustrating to see a big play taken away. But luckily these last 2 times someone has been there to recover. We know Biadaz is on a contract year. But would like to see these O-Linemen following the play regularly. That extra effort reminds me of Jimmy Johnson’s era.

Habits like those are positive towards opening holes at the second level and creating plays like San Francisco is doing running the ball.

So far it's been good heads up football when there have been fumbles downfield. The ball carrier needs to secure the ball better or it's going to bite us as some point.

I believe teh Cowboys have recovered 3 fumbles by their own players this year, two downfield. Biadasz has 2 recoveries himself.

That's the good news. The bad news is I am a believer that these things even out over the course of a season. Keep putting the ball on the ground and some of those fumbles will go to the other team.

IT'S STUPID AND HAPPENS ALL THE TIME, GUY BREAKS 9 TACKLES , I cringe knowing he's about to get stripped, just GO DOWN!!!!!

Lol. It’s like you see it coming. Slow motion. NNNOOOOOO!!
I'm serious, it's like every time, they get sloppy and tired I guess after breaking so many taclkes and all those juke moves that they forget about ball protection, just go down!

3 extra yards might be the difference in your bonus. Over the course of a season that's 50+ yards.
