Guess Romo runs this team, not Wade huh?

Wasn't it interesting how Wade sent in the punt team and Romo waived em' all back and ran the QB sneak? I thought it was very interesting. If Wade is running the show, it sure didn't seem that way on that given play at least.

Embarrassing 44-6 loss. Wow, I never would have thought they would get blown out.

I don't have a problem with this. Romo showed leadership and made the right move. It was desperation time.

Phillips was smart by not calling timeout and punting. After watching the offense struggle, who wouldn't want to punt?

Phillips probably thought the fourth down and inches bomb was coming.

I weep because it's true.

I knew this after Tony threw the red challenge flag a few months back.

I'm just glad to hear that someone does run the team. That in itself is a shocker.

Maybe we should let Romo call the plays also, he cant do any worse than Red Ball.

Seriously fellas.

This is a surprise? Remember the results were the same in previous Dec's like the Skins in '05, the Eagles in '06, the Skins last year, now the Eagles this year. And if you notice the pattern-each of those teams ended up running the tables at the end after being left for dead, while we tanked a good one.

I think it shows leadership. I was glad Romo did that for the fact it made no point in punting in the 1st place. The way Romo explains it he says he didn't wave the punt to off. He was informing them they got the call to go for it. Probably was saving face but whatever. Its nothing I haven't seen from any other elite qb in the league.

I would have called a timeout...grabbed that SOB by he facemask, thrown him down on the bench...punted the ball, and benched him the rest of the game. Of course it was the right call, wade is a ******, but generals make the decisions and enlisted men execute. Chaos insues when the inmates start running the asylum. This team sucks

I couldn't agree more....frankly I agreed with Romo at the time because I thought kicking was ludicrous but in the end it's the head coach's decision not the QB....especially one who has never won anything of significance.

Watch the game tape. You see Phillips say, "He can't do that." At least that is what it looked like to me.

Dude, we clearly don't have a head coach. It would be one thing if he did that to Bill Parcells, but its Wade freakin' Phiilips. A soldier is under no obligation to obey an immoral order and that's exactly what the call to punt was.....

And therein lies the rub!

Peyton can do that, & any other "elite" QB
has the green light to do that!
Clearly, WP had no idea what was happening, & ended
up looking very weak!

I'm starting to have a real problem with the many
liberties that Romo has gotten, without really
EARNING them, IMHO!

He's the annointed one, yet in retrospect, what's he
done to be in that position?

I saw that.

I could have sworn he said, "Why did he do that"?

He did it, because it needed to be done.

Actually no. I was just stating its nothing I haven't seen any other elite quarterback do. Whether you take that as I was involving Romo into the "elite class" or not is for you to determine. But no i'm just saying if you want to be an elite qb in this league that's an attribute you need to acquire. Being a yes man will only get you so far in this league.

I swear the throwback-to-Witten-pass-to-TO that they ran after getting the 1st down looked like they just drew it up in the huddle.

Or they started inviting TO to the secret meetings and came up with it there.

Phillips probably thought the fourth down and inches bomb was coming.

It has been the only leadership I have seen coming from Romo this year.
