Gurode Needs To Be Fired

Hopefully Gurode can be moved to guard. He failed there before, but that was many years ago. We need one and maybe two guards anyway. If a top-notch center is available at that early 2nd round pick, they should really give him a close look.

The problem with playing Guard is that in most offenses it's a very heady position. The guard is usually the pulling/sweeping/trapping lineman so they have to have their assignments memorized for each play and audible in a way that centers almost never have to worry about.

Those foul-ups with snapping the ball are unacceptable in the NFL. He should be fired as an example that no more amateur mistakes will be tolerated.

Maybe calling out the assignments is just to much for him. He isn't surrounded by solid players.
It's pretty bad to forget the count as much as he does.

I wonder if he actually is calling the blocking assignments. I know that in past years, Kozier was actually the one who did this. I don't know if that is still the case or not. Kozier is injured so often, it may well have changed.

The word seems to be that Kosier helps out calling adjustments to last minute shifts on the D line. Yet that did not seem to to be a real problem this year when Kosier was injured.
