guys, i just found out why the offensive line just fell apart in the playoff game against the giants, nate newton was on www.ktbb.com you can listen to it there, go to that website, then click where says cowboys, then on left page, scroll down to guests till u find nate newton, and listen

anyway, nate said that the offensive linemen are suppose to get in rhythm, which we all know, but they are also suppose to go work on the staircase exercise equipment to get their cardivicular up, and work on it 45 minutes a day, to nate, it seemed like the offensive linemen werent doing that, studying fillm etc, they have to do that on their own,

maybe with sparano away alittle that week and not checking on them, and when wade philllips didnt work them in pads too the week of the game, they got rusty and their heart etc wasnt up to standards, hopefully Hudson Houck fixes that problem,

im excited, i remember when he got the cowboys offensive linemen to all pro and nasty and mean in early 90's, joe

Uhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmm...............Sparano was only away for like 3 days(the same days the players had the days off, FYI).

Sorry-I don't buy it. Nate Newton must have too much time on his hands with all that weed.

So, now Nate Newton is an expert on cardiovascular fitness. Maybe next we can get Randall Williams's input on why our WR's were dropping balls and bring in Derek Ross for his views on the best way for players to stay out of trouble in the offseason.

boy, some of you guys are just brutal, you know before u should judge, u should go listen to the audio tape on www.ktbb.com and see what nate has to say,

in other words, do u have the reason why the offensive line fell apart in 4th quarter, the way barber was running first half and mid 3rd quarter, the offensive linemen should have been leaning on the defensive line of the giants, and runningg over them in the 4th quarter, but they didnt , why?

wouldnt a guy that was all pro offensive guard have an ideal and thoughts on that subject, and insight, to me, it shouldnt hurt to listen, maybe we can find out the reason and if its true let jerry jones know so it doesnt happen again

Two words: Killer instinct. The Giants defense had it and the Cowboys o-line had doubt. In Nate's glory days the only thing the o-line doubted was Gogan eating 200 chicken wings in one hour. They had no fear of the opposing team's defense. This o-line showed doubt and the Giants defense jumped on it.

They need to find their killer instinct.

Maybe you should send him a letter, informing him of your insights.

I bet this time you'll actually get a paying position w/ the team, and not just some crummy upgraded seats.

Because the G-Men figured out that our WR's were hurt and they could cover them one-on-one. They made the adjustment and started bringing everybody else. The lanes were instantly filled and the front 4 brought the pass rush. No where to run and Romo had no time to throw.

We didn't mean to say Nate is a liar and a weed-addict, what our point is that there were MANY reasons for our breakdowns in the second half, whether it's our OL or whatever.

The Giants were the better team on Sun, plain and simple.

To the Giants' credit, their secondary has been much improved as the season went along. I noticed in the last month or so as well, their corners were playing press coverage alot better, whether it's Madison, Ross, Webster, or whoever.

That Ross kid is incredible too.

Even if you say is true, then these guys just didn't want it as badly as the Giants. Which is the real reason afterall. When you get to the 4th quarter, you either suck it up & give all you got, or you wimp out & let the opponent run over you. The Cowboys just choked--period. They were the better team, they were at home, & the Giants were playing 3rd string DBs. If you can't take advantage of that, then you deserve to lose.

They did it with Parcells, an autocrat. They did it with Phillips, a players' coach. So, I don't know what to do with this freaking bunch. I do know that we need to not listen to all of these, "Let's get a prototype WR & RB" types, and fill in where we are the weakest: The secondary. We need to draft at least two cover corners in the first three rds., as well as a dominating NT. Ferguson is getting older & injury prone, and Ratliff belongs at DE. That leaves Tank Johnson, who is second string, at best. The Nose Guard is the foundation of the 3-4 defense. We have to grab a beast early on in the draft.

Most of all, though, this team needs more leaders who have the heart to get after his cohorts what they start giving up.

Which is why I'm willing to give Wade another year.

For the most part, 90% of Parcells' 53 man roster was "Yes ma'am, no ma'am" type of guys, which is largely what Wade was working off of. And WP DID say in his PC that "I know the changes that NEED to be made"(or something like that).

I'll see what Jones and Wade will do this offseason, and what new personnel they'll bring in. With Bowles and Pasquerelli(sp) gone, doesn't bother me b/c I'm sure Wade would rather have his own staff.

Just great, some were very eager and extremely content to not give Bill Parcells any of the credit during the Regular Season. Shortly aftewards, the team goes 0-1 in the 2007 Playoffs, embarrasingly relegated to watching the Playoffs at home on the couch like the rest of us and now they indulge in forcing Bill Parcells to shoulder the majority of the blame.

Folks thump their chest, wave the blue and silver flag and proclaim: "It's Bill Parcells' fault", "We overachieved", "The players will learn from this experience".

Whatever you gotta tell yourself, I suppose  .
