BIG NOPE to any Michigan DL in the first sorry.... We haven't had the best of luck with those.
That's really funny. They are nothing like the guys we took. You are talking about a top 5 player and maybe the top 2 dtackles in the class.

I think I like Shemar Stewart as an option as well. I envision him and Osa rushing from the inside on passing downs. He looks like a freak on the field.

Jeanty, McMillan round one
Best interior OL/DL rounds 2 and 3
then doubling up RB/WR depending on round 1 pick in round 5 or later

I really want Jeanty but if McMillian is there it's so tempting. I seriously hope they don't get crazy and draft another tight end early but this is a **** show of a team.

from the reading i try and do as a casual that doesnt watch tape..

your post probably sums up what I would do.

if there is a needle mover(QB, CB, WR, EDGE, LB) available at 12, i guess i would stay pat and pick BPA at a premier position.

i have to admit, though...i hate how rb's are treated in this League...but i would be very very cautious about going RB that high. I wish the rook deals were better for rb's...but overall...the position has been money-balled to the point that even i am saying i would not take one that high. I would really really need to do a lot of due diligence on Jeanty. As in...talk to a couple of guys from each school that played against him his last year in college that played LB or DLine...and ask them to try and gauge how much better he is than the second best back they played against. Either they all say the kid is a monster to try and tackle, or they queue you in that there really isnt that big of a difference...and if the latter is true...im forgoing taking him that high.

I would try and trade back and accumulate some picks so that we can pick some DL's. Im just not sure exactly what this team needs. As in...could they go corner at 12? posters seem to hate diggs around here. could we go tackle? posters are sour on Steele and Guyton...and supposedly there might be a stud tackle available at 12. Its impossible to know what the FO is thinking.

Honestly, the more I think about it the more I want Josh Simmons
Not sure if he'll be ready for training camp, but give me Simmons and I move Guyton to RT and I think the o-line is way better

Cowboys need to trade down into the mid-20s, pick up an extra 2nd (late) or 3rd + 5th round picks. Then use that mid-20s overall pick to secure their middle LB of the future:

Alabama LB:

Jihaad Campbell

Height
6'3"
Weight
244 lbs
Draft Age
21.17 years old
40 time (before senior year/high school): 4.52 seconds
Big Board
32nd | LB2
