Micah going against Guyton, first it shows ONE person blocking him and he's not doubled, so as I've said before, he's not always doubled.

My BIGGEST issue with this play is how Micah tends to get washed by the Tackle to where he has no impact on the play. I feel that Micah needs to use more inside moves, instead of always trying to beat people with his speed. He does have power, but he's undersized as you can see when someone really gets him caught up!

Hoping they clean some things up like this, and that they take him off ruining downs on the DL and put him at LB , on 3rd and long let him go to where he's been awesome at!! Please give your thoughts

You can only help out so much. At some point you have to let Guyton play big boy LT and that's when Garrett attacks. Like a tiger on a deer with a broken hoof.

Then Guyton goes to the bench and sits next to fat bust Beebe. They lock eyes and in that moment realize they have no business being in the league.

That's how I see it.
Not really sure why you are down on Beebe so badly.

I don't say this to be negative, but my honest impression here is that Parsons looks to be going 3/4 speed. Good to see out of Guyton, but I wouldnt get too high just yet. Still a good job of not getting off balance against an excellent speed rusher like Micah.
I got the same impression. I think he was asked to take it easy on the kid to help him to gain some early confidence.

that's only half true IMHO

I believe he's only going three quarter speed in the fact that he's not trying his second/ third moves ie his spin out his effort he puts 110% effort in every game sometimes too much to get sacks late and we don't even really need them in games that already been decided but yes in practice he's just doing 1 pass rush move and not really challenging Guyton fully,

but he's not holding back to give the kid confidence get over that.... I do agree he's not it is game mode but come on that that's not happening with players he's not doing this to help guyton at all because that would actually hurt guyton he's just not putting the effort in and wearing himself out in a meaningless practice he's just trying to get himself back in game shape and used to the physical contact and which that is training camp that is exactly what it's for I don't expect guys out there just absolutely physically draining themselves with every ounce of effort they could possibly put in like you would do in a game...

I think this piece sums it up pretty well. I don’t think he’s doing Guyton any confidence building favors, this simply isn’t game mode Micah parsons as you said.

It looked like a veteran player early in camp who is working on something very specific rather than worrying about beating the man in front of him. True game mode Micah Parsons is probably not being that reliant on a bull rush and does his best work by not letting an OT get hands on him. It’s just a few snaps so I’m assuming a TON here but it looks like Micah is working on his hand work off a bull rush to add to his tool bag.

It’s not a knock on Guyton, his reps actually look really good from a technical standpoint, we just need to keep perspective this early on.

This early in camp the thing you really want to see out of Guyton is his him keeping a strong base, and his hips moving with his feet. All the clips so far have him doing that beautifully. As the veteran players get more into that game mode as the season gets closer it’ll be interesting to see if Guyton can maintain that foundation.

looked like a hold but Micah gets that all the time,it never gets called.

Micah needs to beat the block and force the defender to really extend that arm. Go watch guys like Watt and Bosa. They get the same non-calls by the refs in the same situation. Maybe, Zim will teach him how.

exactly but you do realize that other guys are going against him as well when he's doing the same thing you know some of these guys trying to make the team like Kneeland is also having a problem getting around him, that's always a good sign. Rookies will always have growing pains but we saw Tyler Smith go through it on a nice steady upward projecting even though he had problems here and there especially at left tackle I've seen lots of offensive let me get beat and if anybody judges this by the way miles Garrett handles him in game one that would be dumb I mean you literally need to let the kid grow but there's no way he should be one-on-one with Garrett cause Garrett beat some of the best offensive lineman on a regular basis that's because he's one of the top pass rushers in the league it's not gonna be a knock on gating if he can't handle them I mean that's just bad for game one you line up that dude against Garrett and by himself? If that happens that would be on this coaching staff we're gonna have a long year if that's what they're gonna do that would be the side you shade is the quarterback has to see where Garrett goes if he's not moving a lot why you're doing your defensive reads and then call the alignment to move a running back or a tight end over to chip and help and double that guy you can change also the center can change the blocking to slant garrett's way that's what they do against Parsons and there's no way guyton's gonna handle Garrett it's just I'm expecting him to get beat early on in his career by the best pass rushers in the league yes it's gonna happen..... But my expectations is he'll grow from it he's not gonna get down and be a Chaz green he's gonna come out on the next play and really try to play better.

Yup, that would be nothing to be ashamed of. Still, good reps from Guyton!!
I hope the boys gameplan for this
have ferguson chipping him and prepare to have Dak rolling right
Not like in the past where they let the QB get worked by refusing to acknowledge a LT is having a bad day (or is just a bad LT)
