I think they have their LT.
They do. Looks like losing Tyron Smith won't be so bad.
I think they have their LT.
Haters gonna hate.
Absolutely. It's an excellent sign for Guyton, but it's important to keep these things in perspective as well.Usually the way it works in preseason drills. It's more about working on technique than going all out. That's good for Guyton because he needs the technique work.
That’s the thing, it’s not fact. It's not hate if it's true.
No. Parsons used a rip technique which is an exception in the holding rules.
Except that it is. Maybe you don't know the difference but I've seen Micah enough to know that wasn't his best rushing. That’s the thing, it’s not fact.
Just your opinion from watching a blurry, tiny video. Jeez.Except that it is. Maybe you don't know the difference but I've seen Micah enough to know that wasn't his best rushing.
It reminds me of some offseason blurb out of Bears practice years ago. They had to take Khalil Mack off of the practice field because he kept blowing up their run plays. And we know that Parsons is on that kind of level.Parsons isn't attacking anywhere close to 100%.
Either he realizes that it doesn't do anyone good to embarrass a rookie or the coaching staff has actually requested that he dial it down just a little for training purposes.
I think that Guyton is doing well and he shows a lot of promise but let's not raise expectations to an unrealistic level.
Parsons' game is not going head to head with DTs. His game is to use his speed to run around them before they can get set. I would not expect him to beat Guyton when he runs right into him. I want to see him try to get inside or outside. It will give us a good view of Guyton's feet and quickness. He is a big dude, I don't see many players beating him straight up. NFL DEs use many different moves to set up OTs.Low effort… You said it. That is not at all what Parsons looks like in a real game.
You are not the arbiter of what is fact and what is not; you only have opinions like all of usThat’s the thing, it’s not fact.
Guyton should own Micah if he is able to lock up on him.Parsons' game is not going head to head with DTs. His game is to use his speed to run around them before they can get set. Let's not go overboard. Parsons clearly wasn't going full speed and won't be until the season starts. I'll prefer to see how Guyton holds up against Miles Garrett before bringing out the Champagne..Guyton should own Micah if he is able to lock up on him.
lets be real hereLet's not go overboard. Parsons clearly wasn't going full speed and won't be until the season starts. I'll prefer to see how Guyton holds up against Miles Garrett before bringing out the Champagne..
Agreed!lets be real here
If Garrett is healthy he is going to get the best of Guyton
no matter how physically talented Guyton is a rookie
I think they have their LT.
if Edoga is starting at LT Dak needs to roll right every passing play and have Zeke watching his back on that playGuyton settling in at LT right from the start would be a big thing for this OL. The trickle down effects of him not hitting the ground running are pretty big. Edoga is not the answer. If Edoga is your starting LT there is a real possibility a few games into the season they'll be contemplating moving Tyler back outside.
But if Guyton can settle in, it allows Tyler to just stay at LG and that should help Hoffman inside.
You can. I’m anointing him now. Barring injury, they’ve got their LT for years to come.lets put the annointing oil away for a little while. he has miles to go
