According to what I read, McC was in the running for the NYG job and CLE was interested but he pulled his name out so there was interest in him. DAL was not his only option but he seized the opportunity to take anyone else out of consideration in that 12 hour interview and Booger found out what Glazer and Garrett had both told him, he would really like McC.

Now, we can debate this level of comfort thing about Booger or his forcing McC to keep Moore if that makes posters happy but as far as Moore is concerned, he was allowed to seek employment elsewhere and was offered the OC gig at Washington and decided to come back to the Cowboys and work with McC.

The offense was our strength the last 12 years.
Sure as hell wasn't the D or ST.

The one thing we will never know, how would the team have done under another HC? Many assume they would have done better, maybe even won a ring but they never built the D to truly contend.

Right!! We’ll never know. I suspect we didn’t have good enough team ( especially defensively)for much more success.

not sure if I care less or can not care less about this rumor. they got Garett as OC asst/HC he will most likely help improve this offense without trying , SB stays healthy and they run him more, Jones second year, some healthy WRS back and going to improve with high draft picks..

JG will be eager to prove the DC fans hate about tis being his fault was wrong, that kind of drive for revenge will boost anyone..it will be ironic when we dont beat them twice this year maybe lose to them twice..:))

the internet will break..

whos going to build the better defense first, us or them?? Washington or us? we are headed from 2nd to thirds place in the division this year, garret will be smiling..

Romo made a Pro Bowl here before henwas even hired. Payton developed Romo
If you want to believe Romo was fully developed after starting half a season , that’s your prerogative. But it’s not a fact, merely an opinion.

IMO Romo played best ball with Garrett who fully developed his skills.

Who does Romo credit with helping develop him?

I guess you’re not going to stand by your post I was questioning?

Anybody can be stupid here. I just showed you how stupid I can be.
Here's something to think about:

You didn't take the $1000 because you didn't have the chance.
Now, how could Big Mc take a contract if he didn't have the chance?

And no, I'm not going back to try to read some weird, misguided attempt at making you sounded smarter than a one LED flashlight with a dead battery.

You know, it sounds so awkward saying "an one", but technically it's correct.
Ah well.

Romo had been in the NFL for 5 years when Garrett got here. Garrett was lucky he got to work with a guy a better coach developed
