The offense was our strength the last 12 years.
Thats not saying a whole lot.

Jones showed a lot of potential in his rookie season. So it wouldn’t surprise me if this was true.
Obviously.Thats not saying a whole lot.
Obviously.
Look how far their "strength" got our team.
He could have had a job last year, if he wanted.Big Mike was probably intrigued because he was unemployed
I can't hate on a man who's just looking for a job
It is what it is. What would we have been without it?Thats not saying a whole lot.
Romo had been cut 3 times and didn’t start until mid way in 2006.Romo had been in the NFL for 5 years when Garrett got here. Garrett was lucky he got to work with a guy a better coach developed
Maybe the suits he had didn't fitHe could have had a job last year, if he wanted.
He had suitors this year.
This crap needs to stop.
Buttons popping like bullets from a gun...Maybe the suits he had didn't fit

Your post came off like he had turned down the NY contract before taking Cowboys. And only reason I responded.Anybody can be stupid here. I just showed you how stupid I can be.
Here's something to think about:
You didn't take the $1000 because you didn't have the chance.
Now, how could Big Mc take a contract if he didn't have the chance?
And no, I'm not going back to try to read some weird, misguided attempt at making you sounded smarter than a one LED flashlight with a dead battery.

I’m just saying that Garrett’s offense was Romo friendly and I also watched Romo develop more from that initial Sandlot guy.You mean without Romo pulling rabbits out of hats. Surely you are not crediting garret for whatever success Romo had dragging a 4-12 roster to 8-8.

Most coaches don't get the opportunity to be mediocre as long as Garret was allowed to persist. I'm baffled he got hired as an OC.

While Romo obviously carried those teams to 8-8 , I believe Garrett deserves some credit for overcoming some of the obstacles and distractions as well.
Since I had to look up the Aikman quote, herrrrrrrrrrrreeeeee's Uncle Jerry's quote on his redheaded son Jason.......
6. Jell-O
Topic: Jason Garrett's coaching job in 2016
What he said: "If you look at the status of this team, not just the won-loss record, but if you look at the way that we've handled our challenges and you look at the lack of dangling participles out here -- you don't have a little awkwardness over here or a little awkwardness over there, this isn't kind of giving us a big problem over there - you learn that when things are really tight somebody is doing a great job," Jones said. "When you have this many people and you've got the ambiguity of injuries and you've got all of those things, it's not a tight thing. It's loose.
"It's like holding two handfuls of Jell-O and trying to keep it all in those two hands. I think Jason has done that. He's very effectively held the Jell-O and is keeping it and moving it forward."
I never knew you could have "a lack of dangling participles" until I heard this!
How many participles are you allowed to dangle anyway? (asking for a friend)
