Ha, the Silence of the board when Cowboys win

We won a game we were supposed to win

I gurantee you if we win in Philly next week this boarding will have record traffic

 The game's been over for like a matter of minutes. And yes, losing a game will always elicit more fan attention in the same manner that plane crashes garner more news coverage than flights which land safely. Just common sense with a dash of human nature thrown in.

Yeah, we have lot of commensense on Cowboys board

Cut Ware. Only 1 sack today? I got like 7 in Madden last night.

People love misery. They bask in it.

:hammer: Its the same thing in Dallas Radio shows mostly. Other than Irvin show, most don't talk that much cobwoys with a good win, other Monday and Tuesday. I guess not much to talk about or advise how it should be down by the Arm Chair experts on Radios :D

A lot of the regulars are posting, so your lament was a tad premature.

When you win and Barbie rings up a sack, all is well with the world.

I didn't lament, its just a observation. Its been the same way for 8 or 9 years since I have been on Boards, cowboys boards. Of course, the regulars obviously will always be here regardless. Thats the whole point of my post. Nothing more and nothing less. I wasn't whining about it or lamenting about it.

I agree with that.

Good solid win. Not much to ****** about.

Win or lose, I would expect there will be more action on the board after the next game.

Could this be because we were told not to post new threads after each game?

   Why can't we post threads after the game? My understanding was during the game.

Nope. The OP is exactly right. There is far more action after we lose than after we win. It isn't even close. I can back this up.

Yep you are correct. The rules are no multiple threads of same topic, which is obviously commensense there.

Well I honestly think Rossum will be cut. He didn't play today (that I recall) and Crayton decided to morph into Deion Sanders over the last two weeks, so Rossum isn't really needed.

There's apparently some moratorium on starting threads about the game after the game. It lasts for at least an hour. I don't get it.

Basically, if you want to talk about something about the game, you have to wait a couple hours before starting a thread.

When all is right in your house, do you sit around and compliment your TV, AC, cold beer, etc.?

Heck no. Now, you might think, "it doesn't get any better than this," but for the most part, you bask in the moment, because nirvana is a rare, but wonderful, thing.

Now, if your TV goes out, or one of your pipes burst, do you sit by idly and do or say nothing?

Heck no. You usually freak (internally or externally) and do or say what you have to do to get it fixed.

The "ha" part threw me off. Again, no one should be shocked that losses elicit more emotion than victories over weak opponents.

Do you earn a demerit? Do they just delete them? Whats the penalty?

It's not limited to weak opponents.

Just merged into the stickied thread up top.

No penalty. It's just that if we lose people are so angry that there are literally 200 threads in 20 minutes. It gets impossible. Usually, only if we lose. If we win, but win ugly it may be similar, but not quite.

Could be, but the game thread was kind of slow compared to when the Cowboys are struggling. I guess expectations are high, but we need to learn to enjoy the wins as much as we bemoan the losses.
