Ha, the Silence of the board when Cowboys win

He's proving your point. You rationally expect planes to land properly every time. You don't rationally expect the Cowboys to win every game in a perfect manner.

Yep. This is bbgun's MO: rather than granting the point, he'll deflect by pretending to take the explanation as a personal attack or by trying to reduce the discussion to an ad-hominem tit-for-tat.

The reality is, the OP is right that there's a difference between how the board reacts to wins as opposed to losses. Today might be a bit different since the GB/MIN game followed ours directly, but I'd have thought people would start straggling in as that dismal first half plays out.

Its always amazing how quite this board is when Cowboys win convincingly as expected. Especially other than late turnover by Romo, almost another flawless game ( and obligatory Roy Williams sucks posts that will come, this time I think its deserved).

Great game against a team that we should beat with all of our talent. No big injuries, also a plus. Roy sucks and should be benched on passing plays, he may be our 2nd best receiver, but 3 other receivers outplayed him today.:)

Ok. Now you're boring me by being intentionally dense when you don't have a real argument.

I'm taking this opportunity to *not* stalk you until you post something worth refuting. When I do (stalk you some more), try to take it in the spirit it's intending and not as anything personal.

The game thread was pretty quiet too, but I think it's because there are a lot of people who didn't get the game and had to go to sports bars to watch.
That's what happened to me. I had to go watch it at Dave & Busters. There was easily 20-25 Cowboys fans there & they had the 3 big screens showing Eagles/Giants, Ravens/Broncos & JETS/DOLPHINS & there wasn't 1 fan there ( that I saw or heard ) for the Jets/Phins game. We all ( Cowboys fans ) had to watch the game on one of the small TVs & let me tell you, Cowboy fans were PISSED. ( Not me, because I got a booth pretty close to the TV ) The dopey manager said some BS about how it was "Company policy" to air the Jets/Phins game on one of the big screens.

I will never talk bad about the mods in public. They have a tough job babysitting all the goofballs here.

Hey Hos, since we are not going to lose again can we rethink the rule?:D

After 4000 posts you would think I would have all the rules down.

if that's in reference to me, I'm suing for defamation

You're in a rather litigious mood today, huh?
:laugh2:

It just looks like he and Romo have different playbooks if they can get on the same page Roy will be ok

I'm starting to think TO slippped Roy the wrong playbook before he left.

Great game. This team is looking better and better. Let's hope it doesn't fall apart in Philly next week.

Nope. The OP is exactly right. There is far more action after we lose than after we win. It isn't even close. I can back this up.

For me it's called relief. I would rather just take it in while I can then talk about it.

Went to a sports bar, enjoyed the game, met the family for dinner, & just arrived back home. I'm sure many others enjoyed thew same type of afternoon... hence a quiet board (til now). ;)

Oh & for the record.. RW11 is garbage.

Wade playing the starters while up by 30 was a joke... I dont blame wade, this is how his father coached, too bad this is not the 70s.

Would have been nice to see the rookie QB take some snaps but Wade doesnt have the job security for that!
