I think we are MUCH, MUCH better with Diggs in the lineup. I would almost go as far to say that we only lose to SF by 10 :)

Seriously, it's a huge blow schematically and psychologically. Can't be quantified.

He was our equalizer and emotional, settling, calming force for the entire team. I agree.

Every team has injuries it's up to the FO to be prepared to have a deep roster and/or trade for or find pieces when things like this happen.
Yes agree, and Jerry Stubbornly, MM stubbornly, tries to stand pat. Its just ridiculous thinking. Teams must make the right adjustments and we almost never seem to make any at all. But if Bland can keep playing well, we have a chance, despite that. We also need that other guy to emerge somewhere on the team that can be a difference maker.

We need Damone Clarke, Bell and Evans to be fundamentally sound and good. If we can get that every game. We have a chance. Bell has an it factor to him.

If Diggs had not been injured, this comparison would not have as much drama as right now...

As we prepare to listen to Greg Olsen and Kevin Burkhardt provide their expertise of the game, you will notice that a lot of attention will go to Rams receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nucua.

The rookie (Nucua) is having a phenomenal inaugural season whereas Kupp is getting his legs back under him from his time on the shelf. While that praise wouldn't be misdirected, don't underbid the impact that Tutu Atwell can do when he enters the game. For me, he's practically a carbon copy of KaVontae Turpin on the field.

I understand that some will disagree with that and contend one is a more skilled receiver than the other. You can even argue that Tutu plays by necessity for Los Angeles. I believe it's more to it than that.

The physical profile is almost identical. They are tweeners standing at 5'9″ and are separated by approximately 10 pounds in size, depending on what day you weigh them. Turpin clocked a 4.29 in the 40-yard dash, while Atwell managed to time a measly 4.32.

The defense would have certainly been better had Diggs and Overshown not gotten injured. Although Overshown was a rookie, he was having a spectacular training camp. He was the talk of training camp. His name was coming up constantly. If LVE is out an extended period or for the entire season we’re going to really suffer against some of the better teams coming up.

How much better would the Cowboys be on defense had Diggs not tore his acl? Generational defense? Or just very good.

LOL Diggs is a good not great CB
When will Cowboys fans learn that just because we overpaid a good player like an elite player, it does not make them elite?
Would have thought we learned that with Romo and Dak and Elliot and DLaw and on and on, but no, blind fans never learn

I think Turpin is shifty and speedy...but I don't see 4.2 speed on Sundays. 4.2 is all-time fast.

In uniforms and on the carpet are you really holding a stop watch? Can he still seperate from almost any other player?

With a healthy Diggs, Lewis is on the bench where he belongs

You honestly believe having Diggs would have won the Arizona game for us? Lol They destroyed us upfront. Diggs wasn’t going to prevent them from rushing for over 220 yards.
From an emotional standpoint, I think they would’ve played much better. I think that caused the team to lose focus.

He had three turnovers in two games played. He’s elite

I disagree. The Cowboys lost focus because they were full of themselves after the two big blowout wins. This was a trap game against a 2 TD underdog, and they fell into it. This happens every season with the Cowboys when they get on the role, they decide not to show up against a lesser opponent and get embarrassed.

Sure, ill wait for the “he hasn’t recovered from his injury yet” posts from you when he finally comes back and gets torched next year
Something that happened isn’t comparable to your inane prediction. You not liking a player is typically a sign that they’re dominating.

He was caught from behind a few games ago. You aren't qualified to check my credentials ...so to your "who are you", I ask you the same.

He may actually time 4.2 in shorts, I'm saying that I don't see that speed on the field. You either understand this concept or you're desperate to prove a point.
