Had Diggs not gotten injured

He was caught from behind a few games ago. You aren't qualified to check my credentials ...so to your "who are you", I ask you the same.

He may actually time 4.2 in shorts, I'm saying that I don't see that speed on the field. You either understand this concept or you're desperate to prove a point.
Turpin wasn't caught from behind by anyone. He was seperated when the pass thrown to the sidelines took him out of bounds. He hasn't been caught from behind by anyone.

On a 60 yard pass play, Pollard was caught from behind.

On a touchdown pass, Turpin seperated and caught a TD pass....

No, get YOUR information correct, first.

You didn't answer what instead was asked of you...WHO has caught him from behind? Not you.

How much better would the Cowboys be on defense had Diggs not tore his acl? Generational defense? Or just very good.
Solid because i'm sure there would have been games where when this team stinks EVERYONE Just stinks, he would get toasted for some big gains, or missed a few tackles, i'm not buying it!!

The only thing you miss is his rare ball skills to create turnovers.

But this would be far from a generational defense with him. Their front seven just isn't good enough for that.

I still think our defense is elite.

Our CBs weren't really the issue...our safeties did not play well in the 49ers/Cards game. Jayron Kearse has had an awful year.
They both signed contracts (Kearse/Wilson) and went from savages to a couple guys playing safety.

Bland is doing a great job filling in. The problem is Lewis isn't doing well n the slot.

I may be in the minority but I think Diggs is a good corner, not great. Over rated by the fan base. Defense would have been good to very good, but in the end not good enough.

Very good…no such thing as generational anymore. Too many rules favor the offense in today’s game

Same ol, same ol. Can't stop the run. Lbs can't get off blocks. Diggs makes no difference here. Diggs was in the last two playoff games against SF. How did they go?
19 points given up and only one touchdown is a lot better than the crap we saw 3 weeks ago

If your defense becomes just "pretty good" after losing a defensive back, to the point where they lose to Arizona, it was never "Generational" to begin with.

Unless you just mean compared to other renditions of Cowboys defenses over last 25 years....then sure maybe it could have been the best COWBOYS defense we have seen in last 25 years.... but certainly not compared to the whole league.

Yup……..the Browns front seven is in class of elite…….these guys are good but not great.

I don’t really know as it was developing. They are still light at LB and the D line is not as consistent as they need to be. They are like the bottle rocket defense - very flashy- a quick rise - a big explosion that looks pretty then they come crashing down to reality - they all seem to struggle and wear down as season goes on
Just my opinion.
Perfect assessment.

People need to stop with this generational defense, even if Diggs was in the lineup. They are a good defense, but struggle against better offenses.
