Had to love how Dan didn't take the foot off the pedal

I like not taking the foot off the pedal either - until the game is decided, but all those gimmick plays and attempts to get a OLman to score were bush league to me. There was no need for that. They were trying to embarrass the Cowboys.

I remember the old Ralph Kramden quote, "Be nice to the people you meet on the way up, because you will meet the same people on the way down."

At the same time, I would have liked to have seem some kind of anger in response to those attempts to embarrass Dallas. But the Cowboys players laid down and stayed down. That was especially hard to take.

I think Campbell and Jones must have had a falling out while he was playing here. I know he broke his foot and I don't remember if he ever came back from that or not but he's got some resentment towards this organization.

A lot of people just hate Dallas for who they think they are. Doubt there is any resentment.

It is not Dan Campbells job to preserve our dignity. He could have scored 60 on us if he wasnt so busy tinkering with with his offense trying to throw out new wrinkles. They do that to get it on film and set up future opponents. They play chess while we play checkers.

We were basically a far lower practice team for them to practice against.

I totally agree. Totally classless in the NFL. I enjoyed it cause it added to the humiliation on Jethro’s birthday.
That was the only saving grace yesterday. Most Cowboys knew this team trending down from the past 3 years. We're and 8 win team at best. Middle of the road. Anyone who knew football knew yesterday was going to be a loss, probably a blow out to boot.
If you look around the board today nobody's shocked at what happened. We knew it.

The best part of yesterday's game was that it happened on Jerry Jones birthday. That was the perfect birthday gift because it's something he really deserves with the way he's ruined the Dallas Cowboys franchise on the football field, not the business. Yeah, the Cowboys are worth 10 billion dollars but their worth on the field is definitely close to the bottom......and Jerry's responsible for both.

Detroit is a real football team. We are a reality TV show. I wish it was different. I wish there was hope. Alas there is none.
