Its literally pedal. It's called "peddle to the metal" BTW.
He literally grew up a cowboy fan in the dallas area.Don’t think he is a cowboy fan
We've seen Dallas lay 50 on Washington and the Giants with Parsons not coming out trying to chase sack records. It's stupid to have your starters in with 11:43 to go in the 3rd quarter?
A lot of people just hate Dallas for who they think they are. Doubt there is any resentment.I think Campbell and Jones must have had a falling out while he was playing here. I know he broke his foot and I don't remember if he ever came back from that or not but he's got some resentment towards this organization.
It is not Dan Campbells job to preserve our dignity. He could have scored 60 on us if he wasnt so busy tinkering with with his offense trying to throw out new wrinkles. They do that to get it on film and set up future opponents. They play chess while we play checkers.I like not taking the foot off the pedal either - until the game is decided, but all those gimmick plays and attempts to get a OLman to score were bush league to me. There was no need for that. They were trying to embarrass the Cowboys.
I remember the old Ralph Kramden quote, "Be nice to the people you meet on the way up, because you will meet the same people on the way down."
At the same time, I would have liked to have seem some kind of anger in response to those attempts to embarrass Dallas. But the Cowboys players laid down and stayed down. That was especially hard to take.
We were basically a far lower practice team for them to practice against. It is not Dan Campbells job to preserve our dignity. He could have scored 60 on us if he wasnt so busy tinkering with with his offense trying to throw out new wrinkles. They do that to get it on film and set up future opponents. They play chess while we play checkers.
Yep and thats all on us.We were basically a far lower practice team for them to practice against.
The season? Perhaps his career.Yeah, but karma bit them in the arse with that gruesome Hutchinson leg injury.. Likely done for the season.
That was the only saving grace yesterday. Most Cowboys knew this team trending down from the past 3 years. We're and 8 win team at best. Middle of the road. Anyone who knew football knew yesterday was going to be a loss, probably a blow out to boot.I totally agree. Totally classless in the NFL. I enjoyed it cause it added to the humiliation on Jethro’s birthday.
Well said . ThanksThat was the only saving grace yesterday. Most Cowboys knew this team trending down from the past 3 years. We're and 8 win team at best. Middle of the road. Anyone who knew football knew yesterday was going to be a loss, probably a blow out to boot.
If you look around the board today nobody's shocked at what happened. We knew it.
The best part of yesterday's game was that it happened on Jerry Jones birthday. That was the perfect birthday gift because it's something he really deserves with the way he's ruined the Dallas Cowboys franchise on the football field, not the business. Yeah, the Cowboys are worth 10 billion dollars but their worth on the field is definitely close to the bottom......and Jerry's responsible for both.
Nah, in about a year or so, he'll play again for sure. The season? Perhaps his career.
