LOL

Look at Harpers TD catch against the Giants..... go to the 15:40 minute/second mark.

What a Joke

Rule is now different

Calvin Johnson rule

I don't agree with the rule in Dez or Calvin situation but it is what it is. Moving on now

I knew that, thank you.....just found it funny because the ones I pointed out are ten times worse than the Dez or CJ and they were counted.

Oh yeah.....todays rules 100% incomplete.....I mean the only thing Dez didn't do on his catch was kick the extra point

I did not agree with it still don't, all I can say to all WR you better hold on to the ball all the way through

Dont let the dez catch bother you anymore. If they call pi on Hitchens in the lions game we dont make it to the gb game. Dallas had plenty of chances to put green bay away and they didnt get it done.

Ummmm.....I never said it bothered me anywhere. Basically just saying how its funny the rulings from the past to the present but thanks for chiming in with a meaningless quote

Nobody understands the rules anymore.......

Whats strange to me is seemingly every rule is tilted to give the offense an advantage because they believe the game is more popular with more scoring yet they have this nit-picky rule that penalizes the offense. When its as hard to determine a catch wasn't made, as in the case with Dez, Johnson and others, the advantage should tilt to the receiver like it does when a DB and receiver both appear to have possession of the ball.

If the NFL doesn't define what "all the way through" means, they have a meaningless rule they can bend to whatever they feel at the moment. They tampered with the Dallas Green Bay game.

Unless you're Jermaine Gresham or Julius Thomas, who did not hold on after contacting the ground, but were awarded the catch anyway. "All the way through" doesn't always mean "after contacting the ground," it just means until the replay official determines that the player has established himself as a runner.

That determination is left solely to the judgment of the replay official.

I know you were regarding the first Harper catch where the ball falls out. I see where you are coming from. Today, that would have been an incomplete pass

However, that second Harper catch - the 50-yarder from Aikman - I regard that play as one of two MOST PERFECTLY EXECUTED plays in Dallas Cowboys history (the other being the Staubach to Pearson bomb against NYG in the new Meadowlands in 1976).

If you watch those plays in full broadcast, every player is doing their job perfectly.
