I hear so often here that TO is a "distarction" in the locker room and it got me thinking back to the Dynasty of the 90s and how someone like TO would fit in. My thoughts immediately went to Charles Haley and all the disclosures of his antics in the locker room. If you haven't heard- do a little research.

My question is: Who is/was a bigger distraction to the team? Who is/was more detrimental to team chemistry?

What's the difference between now and then?

I have a feeling if the internet existed, the same guys would be calling for Haley's head as soon as any game was lost.

A good friend reminded me of Duane Thomas.

Now that guy was a piece of work but Dallas still managed to win SuperBowls with Thomas and with Haley.

Haley kept it in the locker room, whereas TO...well he doesn't.

I also think that the media today engages in more tabloid type reporting than actual football related stories.

In addition, Haley was a certified nut case, but also a certified WINNER.

Other than that and Haley's reported likeness to a horse, I'd say they are about the same.

I don't know...probably a toss up. But I bet Haley could whup up on Owens - mano y mano!

:fight:

Haley T.O.

Might have kept it in the locker room but he didn't keep it under his towel. :D

Oops I forgot.

So many of you think so little of the grown men sharing the locker room with TO that you believe they cringe and quake at every utterance out of his mouth. These shrinking violets cannot do their job or focus on anything other than what TO is thinking.

That's one way to twist it or you could say TO just cant keep his mouth shut. Either way

Or you could just say that him talking really only affects recliner-riders like yourself who are sensitive to every little situation that doesn't go exactly the way you think it should.

In other words, it doesn't matter even a little bit in reality- just in your world.

Good question....

Simple answer.

Duane Thomas....Coach. Tom Landry.......Ran the team..eliminated team distractions quickly.

Charles Haley......Coach, Jimmy Johnson.....Ran the team...Before JJ had aspirations to be GM....from what I have read I don't think anything or anyone could have distracted that group.

T. Owens........Coach, Wade Phillips.....TO answers to JJ & according to Troy Aikman ...JJ thinks team chemistry is overrated.

Being different does not make you an artist, it only makes you different.

No matter how much you dress it up and cover it with smelly stuff, **** will always be ****. Your making a mole hill out of a mountain and may be the only person who can spin a negative situation backed by years of history and negative results into a positive.

Never said it was a positive...Just consistently say it's a nothing. It's people like that think it matters.
