Half way point: Predict the 6 NFC Playoff Teams

OK....I'll bite.

1) Carolina- Home field throughout the playoffs
2) Seattle- Bye, Home field
3) Dallas- Home for Wildcard
4) Chicago- Home for Wildcard
5) Atlanta
6) NY Giants

Am I the only one who thinks that Carolina really isnt that good ? They have quite possibly the easiest schedule in football.

I suspect they may make the playoffs though, but will lose in the first round. I also think that Atlanta wins that the division.

Michael Vick owns the Panthers. I dont like Vick but he has never lost to the Panthers.

Chicago
Seattle
Commanders
Cowboys.

6. Giants- hold on for a WC spot
5. Carolina- Is Steve Smith superman? Surely teams will start making other guys on that team beat them, and with the questionable health of their RBs, their somewhat easy schedule will allow them to grab a WC spot, but it won't be as easy as the first half of the season.
4. Minnesota- wins the north, with Brad Johnson protecting the ball and Michael Bennett running, along with Chicago faltering down the stretch.
3. Atlanta- It's sad that Mike Vick basically had to wait the better part of 4 seasons to have a game to point to as evidence that he can actually throw the ball. They'll probably lose some game that they should win, but with their schedule and the Panthers being overrated, they'll win the division.
2. Seattle beat Atlanta early in the season, and with the tiebreaker, will grab the 2 seed.
1. Cowboys- I'm a homer.

Smith has been doing it week after week. IMO he is the best WR in the NFC right now and this is with them running the ball poorly, no threat opposite him and with Jake Delhomme throwing him the football.

1. falcons
2.Hawks
3.Giants
4.Bears
5. Panthers
6.Dallas

The Giants Schedule is pretty easy.
Panthers arent as good as everyone wants them to be

1. Panthers
2. Seahawks
3. Giants
4. Bears
5. Cowboys
6. Falcons

Cowboys @ Bears: Cowboys
Falcons @ Giants: Giants

Cowboys @ Panthers: ehh Panthers
Giants @ Seahawks: Giants

Giants @ Panthers: Panthers

A few words on Carolina.

First, they haven't yet played against a first-string QB on a team that has a winning record. That's an incredibly lucky stat this late in the season. For example, the Cowboys have played 4 games against winning teams and their #1 QB, and are 2-2 in those games.

Second, about their passing game. Carolina has yet to play even one game against a pass defense in the top 12 in passes defended. Unusually lucky. Dallas has already faced 6 teams in the top 12.

Carolina has only played against one defense that is among the top ten in sacks (and they lost that game). Six of their eight games have been against defenses that rank in the bottom half of the league in sacks.

Carolina has only played one game against a defense that ranks in the top 12 in INT's. In fact, half of their games have been against teams among the bottom 10.

Nice recipe for an aerial circus, and a 6-2 record.

NFC WEST - Seattle
NFC EAST - Cowboys
NFC South - Carolina
NFC North - Chicago

Wild Cards:
Atlanta
NY Giants

IF Parcells and Bledsoe get back to the superbowl, They will NOT lose that game.

It just will not happen.....PERIOD

id rather get a wild card and go to chicago than host a game to NY to be honest

not that i think the giants are a particular threat, id just feel a lot better vs. chicago

I'll take playing in Dallas in January over playing in Chicago in January.
