If I had a few billion I'd be running the team and y'all would be hating on me

Same here. Now in all honesty if was an NFL owner looking to hire a GM I would not hire Jerry. However he is the GM of the Cowboys and as I have said many times before it really comes down to hiring the right people to get the information so that he can make the final decisions.

It's because he hasn't won anything meaningful in close to two decades. I'll give Jerry his credit when he earns it.

Deion was talking about the day to day/week to week proclomations. I'm sure your goals are much higher and broader.

I think people tend to forget that their opinions of how a multibillionaire runs his team means nothing to him, the team or anyone else. Just because your one of the billion people who bought a PC, doesn't mean u can tell Bill Gates how to run his company.

Relax and enjoy, you're stressing yourself over something you can't control.

Owner, president, GM....
I think he would appear even more passionate if he called a few plays every game..... Maybe every first down..... Just so people could know how passionate he is and what a rock star he really is

Don't keep those qualities hidden jerry, let 'em out...... Who cares if it you undermine the authority of your HC

this line is ridiculous

You words also mean nothing to the coaches and the players and the media

Can I assume that you will completely stop posting on message boards?

Take your own advice , relax and don't tell others what to think or post

He was referring to when we were 6-1 and everybody and their momma were riding our jock. Now that we're 6-2 .... you know the rest (I assume ... or should I?).

He's referring to an old cliche that's been around for years but I also assume you know that. It's nothing new to this season and, on the contrary, Jerry's been getting a lot of love with regards to the OL and how his picks have worked out thus far.

People like me don't tell Jerry Jones a thing. I don't e-mail him, call him, write him a letter, etc. We're fan's on a Cowboy's message board. Why would we not debate the merits of the GM?

The media has been giving Jerry a lot of love lately. In the past they have always jumped all over him for going to the sidelines.

Now they are saying the opposite. And it's multiple sources. Not just local ones.

I was suprised by the change.

I wouldn't say lot of love. He only got a smidgen of credit last week and I heard a lot of backhanded compliments at that. Some had to throw in the Johnny Football crap.

The compliments came to a screeching halt this week once he went to the sidelines of his stadium of his team checking on the health of his $100 million QB.

Now what gives him the right to do that? Who does he think he is? The President/Owner/GM/CEO or something?

I'm telling you that instead of whining about how someone else treats something that they own you can just realize its not yours.

I'm not telling you what to post, I'm telling you that how your neighbor treats his Ferrari you're always gushing about is none of your concern.

Maybe so but players love him, heck he has inducted more of his players into the HOF than Jimmy did. lol

Ummm..jj paid and in many cases overpaid them very well. Yes they like him. Deion always throws that in how jj made him a very rich man. I like me some jj as if his $$ the only reason. Jimmy worked them while jerry bought their cars and homes. Just saying being liked does not qualify you as a good gm or owner.

I mean they called Jerry to induct them. Players and even coaches like BP seem to tell a different story about Jerry than those who are not at Valley ranch. People form their own views but often the views are based on their own perceptions. Perception and Reality are often not the same.

Lol that you can't see it

By the same token posters should realize that how coaches coach or how players play or what the media says we have no control over

Let me know when you will stop posting on message boards about anything you have no control over, in fact you have no control over what other posters think or post but that does not stop you from trying to do so

I am quite certain that this argument is too complex for you to follow or to appreciate the irony inherent in it so like I said.... Relax and stop trying to tell others what to post as long as it is within the rules

Winning excuses a lot of that type of behavior so people don't have to point to it as a reason for the team's lack of success.
