They were talking about it on Talking Cowboys. Specifically BB was talking about it. The thought was that they were going to bring up Pellerin as a 5th corner rather than an extra safety to replace Claiborne.

When I am deciphering what people say I categorize it by who their sources are and who they are not. For example, BB has a direct line to the scouting department but as the Floyd pick demonstrated very clearly, he does not have the same rapport with the coaching staff.

I say this because I have heard other reports that Hamilton is a pet cat of Henderson and the coaches.

Regardless, I was curious of what people's takes are.

I like Hamilton's athleticism, speed and coverage ability. He also covers kicks and makes tackles doing it.

he's on the active roster bubble. he's not in danger of being cut from the team. kid has some serious potential. much more than some of the inactives.

He has been a point of good interest over the past season and now. Just from an uninformed spot, he has been liked. Unfortunate for discipline types of considerations as well. Because the the transition to a Jason Garrett type of players has actually started to raise it's head, in a proud fashion.

That is not what they said. They said that he still had PS eligibility, that he was not on the roster at all right now but on the exemption list and that they were leaning towards signing Pellerin rather than to bring Hamilton on the roster.

He hasn't seem much on the carpet to date...and that's this fan's final snapshot.

I'll take Broaddus' words with an enormous grain of salt, and also crown him captain obvious. Of course Hamilton is on the bubble. He has been his entire time in Dallas.

Thus me saying consider the source and that sources sources. It was pretty clear from the conversation that he had been talking to someone in the organization and I would bet a dollar to a doughnut that it was someone in the scouting department.

That jives with the other reports taht the coaches like Hamilton. They do not always see eye to eye.

I think activating Patmon and giving Mo's spot to Hamilton is a no-brainer. Then Spillman and Hamilton can sort out whose on the roster bubble via Teams production.

oh I didn't realize that. i hope they don't go that route. hamilton seems to have some fans on the coaching staff. i bet broaddus is wrong here.

Exceptional athlete who messed up at GA. I've been hoping he'd show something at CB/S. I do think he's a hybrid. I don't know much more about him.

Who do you cut for Patmon though is the rub if you give Hamilton Mo's spot. Edwards?

Might be a moot point here shortly as Spillman could well be canned.

I am interested to see him play. I only remember him from the Detroit game when he was activated the previous Thursday when Wilcox hurt his knee. He gave up that huge play that lost us the game up the left sideline.

Is Patmon on the PS? I thought he made the roster out of camp already.

Edit. Yeah, he's on the active roster, just hasn't been going to the games.

I don't remember that but I'd like to see the guy play some.

i was not a big fan of donald hawkins at texas. idk why we have him on the roster. he can go to the PS and bring up pellerin and hamilton.

Why should he be on the bubble? Last I heard Hamilton had a pretty good camp.
