Hamlin signs with the Ravens per Adam Schefter

theo loved Ken Hamlin the way eduncan(?) loved Jacque Reeves if memory serves me right.

As soon as Reeves left, eduncan left too.

Someone liked Jacques Reeves?????? :bang2: I have nightmares of that last 47 seconds of the first half. :bang2:

Then again, McCordsville had tight pants for Quinn so anything is possible.

I'm pretty sure Hamlin was already playing for the Ravens on Dec 20, 2008.

He darn sure wasn't playing for us.
:laugh2: Zing!

I thought he signed with the Bengals? Am I nuts?

Ken Hamlin wasn't a pet player of mine. I only defended him from the idiots that claimed that he was a problem in the secondary, those idiots that look only at one statistic for defensive backs -- interceptions. Statistically he was one of the better safeties in the league. If someone ever actually came up with an argument other than "OMG he suXX0rs cuz he haz no INTs!!!!1111" I would have listened and adjusted my opinion accordingly. I had no attachment to the player other than his performance appeared to help the Cowboys statistically.

Yeah, right. Whatever you say. Sounded like you and him were best buds last year. Not many other people defended his sorry play.

You don't have to believe me. Honestly, I'd prefer it if you were on the opposite side of the argument. Makes me more confident in my opinion.

I still think Hamlin took too much heat while here. He didn't blow us out of the water with his play by any stretch. But he didn't get beaten a whole lot either.

It's hard to try and rationalize with people, but the video game/fantasy football era has made things crazy.

Exactly. He wasn't as bad a people seem to remember him but he wasn't worth what he was being paid. He wasn't elite but he WAS adequate. The thing is that Alan Ball was also adequate and at a much cheaper price.

Can we get a group discount for electroshock therapy to erase any memories of that guy? I'll kick in my services to set up a 501c3 to take donations.

Maybe I'll just take this little legless feller's example and bang my head until I forget what I was banging my head for in the first place.
:banghead:

I hope Tony and our WR's DESTROY that twerp in week 3.

I was and still am a Hamlin fan (even got an authentic) & dint run him out of town but he did have a knack to come up with an illegal hit when you really didnt need it more than once.... but i wish him luck in B-more.

Seeing that Reed plays FS I wonder how soon they are going to see Hamlin's tackling prowess on the strongside?

Hey, they owed him one for the two touchdowns he gave them.
