I "love" me some Hamlin, but for the life of me, why would anyone bite on a playaction, everyone and their mommas know NE can't run the stinking ball? I would never come up to help playing NE.

Not smart!

Okay guys, let's not get it twisted here. Calling Wes Welker "just another No. 3 receiver" is a bit deceiving. The guy can flat out fly. He's a damn good receiver, probably the best slot receiver in the game.

From what I have watched, every game, he has been the lone bright spot in the secondary. He is very rangy and brings the wood against the run. I think he is suffering because so many people have a love affair with Watkins and he has to not only play FS but make up for Roy's declining ability at SS.

I see a lot of people taking shots at Hamlin for the Patriots game but IMO, that game is on the scheme and the coaching staff. They did not, and in my opinion haven't all season, put this secondary in the best position to make plays.

So, what is with all the hate against Hamlin i read on this board?
Overall, I've liked Hamlin's play. Was one of several 'Zoners who wanted to sign him this past off season and was happy when we signed him. I'll let the season unfold before making any final judgements. I do believe he's the best FS option we have on the team right now so he's not going anywhere.....
