While waisting time at Wally world I thought I would see what was in the DVD section. I spotted this movie on BD for $14.99 and thought "why so cheap?" (for a BD) But I decided to chance it. Let me tell you This is the first time I actually laughed out loud at a film in a long time.

If you havent seen it, give it a try. I rate it 3 1/2 out of five stars. But make sure you get the unedited version. :)

I saw it a few months back. It was entertaining. Notice I said not good, but entertaining. I probably wouldn't give it more than 3 stars though.

Really? I'm interested in why you would say that. While I did find the plot to be predictable and the acting only average. I also found it entertaining with a suprisingly dark slant to the average super hero tale.

Theo has a hard time stating his opinion without being dramatic and short so he can follow up with a snarky reply later if he's bored. ;)

That said, I enjoyed about the first half of Hancock then it took a steep nose dive. The original idea of a troubled superhero in a world of normal people that needs a PR agent was solid, all that other crap that they dragged into it was downright ridiculous.

Perhaps. But the second half did have Charlize Theron in skimpy outfits. So it's a draw. :)

I suppose it could be one of the best movies ever made... depending on how you look at it. Are you a glass half-full or a glass half-empty kind of guy??

It could be one of the 1,000 worst movies of all time, or one of the 5,000 best of all time.

:laugh2:

It's worth watching on a Saturday when the family is out and you have absolutely nothing to do and don't feel like being productive.

Not a fan of the movie......but I am a huge fan of Theron. She looks damn good in this one.

That's how I feel as well.

I actually watched it while cleaning up. Great mindless entertainment.

Couple of funny parts but otherwise I thought it kind of sucked.:D

This guy knows me.

And I agree, the concept was awesome. The first trailer had me hooked. But what a steaming pile o' crap that one was.

Why don't you guys give me your worst Five movies. Then I'll have something to watch. ;)

I will tell you one that is really bad, I have yet to hear anyone that saw it say they like it.

In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale

It was just flat out terrible.

Surprise of it was that it had some name actors like Jason Statham (who's movies are not oscar movies but at least they are ok for action movies), Ron Pearlman, John Rhys-Davies, Ray Liotta, Matthew Lillard and Burt Reynolds oh man Burt was so miscast and the script for him was so cheesy it might be worth watching it just to laugh at him.

My worst is Pan's Labyrinth... after I saw I gave it to someone as a Christmas present. I haven't gotten a Christmas present from them since.

Blame Uwe Boll, all he does is direct and produce terrible movies.
