This breakdown illustrates how Hankins can anchor double teams and push, shed tackle vs singles. Between him and Bohanna we are in the best shape at the nose since Ratliff decided to go AWOL.

Clark is going to need to grow into the scheme but with Parsons on the line we have desperately needed athleticism to get outside on outside runs.

Clark's speed and lack of experience makes him the natural choice to spy QBs. "Watch that guy."

Clark is going to seriously eat into Barrs playing time . And I suspect Hankins cost Hill a roster spot . And I believe Hankins at what 30 is still young enough to Re sign in Dallas come post season .
Hill has been cut already. Barr has a pulled hamstring.

But, that natural two gap player he spoke of in that video, is exactly what Ridgeway was. You can't continuously stop the run using the one gap system, IMO. It counts on everyone in your front seven to be on the same page. I'd rather we use the two gap, but then we'd still need two gap DE's. Osa and Golston would have to play DE if we really wanted to stop the run. Because, they are the only two gap DE's we have, everyone else gets up the field too quick.

This. A big body nose and another LB that plays on the right side of the LOS is just what the doctor ordered.

Hamstring is usually 3 weeks (Barry’s injury)
NO its not, depends on if its strained or pulled or just sore, is it torn ripped etc etc etc etc its day to day until otherwise updated. the bye will help a lot he sat out 2nd half and the bye week comes. isnt it also a late game against GB..

Hankins certainly didn’t provide any help last week. That was our worst game all season against the run. Lucky we’re not going to be facing mobile QBs every week.

I am getting way ahead of myself but what team can put three front seven players on the field as fast as Sam, Clark and Parsons. :omg:

No one else comes close. What is crazy is that they are all under 24 too. We could be looking at the genesis of a defense that could dominate for the next 5 or 6 years like the Legion of Boom did.

In coming drafts I hope we keep doubling down on defense.

We will stop teams like SF now with our defense.

We *may* still struggle with a team like Philly if we let them play their game. Meaning...if we do dumb things like turn it over or go for it on our own 34....we will struggle.

However, if we play our game and put points on the board...teams like philly will get destroyed bc they will have to get away from their bread and butter.

Which then plays into ours.
