Wrong. The D got gashed on outside runs. When Hankins was in, he played well. Come on, man

This has already been discussed. After I made that post a break down of his performance was posted and it showed that when he was in the game we defended the run much better than when he was out of the game.

So, your comments about Hankins were incorrect, right? Not trying to cause trouble, but there was a lot of anti-Hankins talk before he played. He's a good player

My comments weren’t exactly incorrect, because he wasn’t in the lineup enough to make a significant difference. We gave up more rushing yards on Sunday than we have all season. I haven’t looked over the Cowboys history, but I doubt they’ve won many other games if any giving up 240 yards rushing. The professional breakdown that was posted showed the Cowboys still had some issues against the run when Hankins was in there but overall, they played much better against the run when he was in there.

Hankins is the first real 1T I can remember the Cowboys trading for and I was excited when it was announced. I believe he'll be a key ingredient in stopping the runs up the middle.

When I read key ingredient, I thought of onions. After I thought about it, I think salt would be a better answer. Now I am wondering why onions were the first ingredient I thought of.

Hankins certainly didn’t provide any help last week. That was our worst game all season against the run. Lucky we’re not going to be facing mobile QBs every week.
Yes he did stats are out when he played. Our problem was on the left side

I thought Hankins was a huge under the radar trade. We got him for very little and the odds of him playing well in our defense were very good in my opinion.

He was amazing in his first game and will only get better once he understands all the nuances of Quinn's defense. I was watching him in breakdowns of other players on our defense and was amazed at how well he played. I think he is the exact signing we needed.

Big props to the FO for getting him, especially at that price.

Onions, because onions go in first. Around which you build.

That's not true at all, watch the video provided.

Your post completely lacks context: They ran the ball 120 times and for 100 yards in garbage time down 20 points

Clark is going to seriously eat into Barrs playing time . And I suspect Hankins cost Hill a roster spot .
And I believe Hankins at what 30 is still young enough to Re sign in Dallas come post season .

- i thought Barr, a former pro bowler, would have at least one more " rental" year in him for us.
And i thought (hope?) he'd bring a more physical presence and tone than what LVE is giving us.

- But he seems slow and JAG like ..i could understand if it was a matter of learning the Quinn scheme, but at this point, and
the plays he's failing to make, it looks more physical than mental.
i can understand the signing because of his past resume, but it seems like he's just a mere shell of what he used to be.

- Jabril Cox ? Forget it .. i would not be surprised if he's not on the roster next year.
They don't him. They must think he has such flaws and deficiences that are not being coached in, or he doesn't have it in him
to be coached fixed. He'll likely be inactive-game day for remaining season.
i don't see him at the end of next year's camp vs letting his rookie contract expire and walk away
And i'm not hearing the ACL recovery issues as he's participated in camp and preseason and not on the injury report.

- Bobby Belt commented that he thinks he's too much of a run defense liability.
whether the issues are questionable run defense instincts, or he may be just a pass nickel only guy.
Makes me questioned why we had a 2nd rd grade on Cox, en route to being elated getting him in 4th rd.

True but I think part of it was Dallas grabbed a big lead and I think they felt Bears would start going through the air, really never happened Chicago stayed with the run game until the end. Great way to stack up yards but also great way to run the clock out on themselves

A big part of it was probably because he just got here and they were working him in. He should get more snaps against Green Bay.

You obviously haven’t been following along my comment was before the video was posted. This was already brought up and addressed.

Had high expectations for Cox, but he has been the invisible man thus far, not sure why, he looked as though he was finding his role in this Defense last season before getting injured.
Is he in the doghouse or having issues recovering from the injury.
