Hansen saying Jimmah should have payed 20 Million Per Year to bring Jimmah Back as HC, 10 mil per year to bring Norv back as OC, and 5 dollars per year to bring Campo back as DC.

Exactly. He is always grumbling about Jerry running the team. Yet he wants to tell Jerry how to run the team. The last time I checked it was Jerry's money invested in the team and not Hansen's.

I agree....I always did like Coach Joe. Loved watching that vein pop out of his neck when yelling...getting all red-faced.

On the field we usually had good, solid special teams. Of course the entire talent of the roster was loaded in the early to mid 90's so there was bound to be some good talent on ST's.

I agree. After we hired Wade, Hansen was complaining that Parcells wouldnt have a beer with the media and tell them the inner workings of the team the way Norval would.

the only thing really special about our units under Coach Joe were the kick and punt coverage, and we are still very good at that, I don't remember returning too many kicks and punts for TDs or having very good units there, and don't remember a P leading the league in punting under him

Kelvin Martin was a real good punt returner and then Kevin Williams was pretty good later. Of course I don't know how much it was Joe's coaching or just their abilities.

I recall Mike Saxon being a pretty good punter, but I don't remember where he ranked.

Overall I thought our ST's were solid, but not spectacular

I think Coach Joe is an excellent STs coach, but I can't blame Wade for not hiring an outsider that is known for airing dirty laundry to the media. Not to mention Joe griping about Wade's hiring on the radio because he had an in with Norv. I'm sure that didn't help either.

I could understand the gripe against the new ST coach if he didn't have any quals. But looking at his resume, he's a good hire.

If the only gripe is that he's not Coach Joe, then Hansen needs to get over it.
