I think Coach Joe is an excellent STs coach, but I can't blame Wade for not hiring an outsider that is known for airing dirty laundry to the media. Not to mention Joe griping about Wade's hiring on the radio because he had an in with Norv. I'm sure that didn't help either.

You know Dale is not always wrong but at the same time he is not always right.

Seems to me you are just as guilty of taking a side as those that rag on him all the time.

I lean to him being wrong more than right in his case because it is obvious he has a huge bias against Jerry. I don't think Jerry has been a very good GM over the years but I just can't muster the same amount of hate and shock value takes as poor old cranky Dale.

Of course our special teams were good in the early 90's. We were so loaded with talent that our backups and special team players could start for most NFL teams. We cut guys in training camp that started for a lot of NFL teams.

When Alvazzano didn't have as much talent to work with in the late 90's and his stint with the Raiders his units were very mediocre.

And to be honest, I think that was the only time I really liked Barry.

There was no need to rag on his this time. Advocating Joe for ST is as innocuous as you can get, yet the hysterics came anyway. Why? Because it was Dale. Had Jerry floated Joe's name it would have been a love-in around here.

And yes, Dale is fallible. He always says that Roy Williams can play on his team anytime. Well, that's just crazy.

Attacking Dale won't get the team where it needs to go. He does not have that kind of power. Only Jerry does. Jerry is not "the Cowboys," and people need to stop conflating the two.

I doubt the latter. BB is brutally, brutally honest in his opinions. He lays 'em out there with a hint of humorous sarcasm that I can appreciate. He's got some I agree with and some I don't, but I do not doubt his allegiance with Dallas. Maybe some of it's organization and surrounding cast, a few players here and there, but no less trivial than most of our concerns/opinions. One thing for certain, he'll always shoot from the hip.
