I have been yelling this for years. Green not only did not play football until the NFL. He was all rookie NFL off a college basketball court. He played CB and SS at Pro Bowl level. He then was a player coach and scout that groomed his replacements one who is in the HOF, Cliff Captain Crash Harris and the other Charlie Waters. He then goes to Denver and scouts Dennis Smith and Steve Atwater (HOF). His accomplishments as a Pro Bowler are the same as than Darren Woodson but he played 2 different positions and did not get on a football field until his first NFL training camp. He played at 6-3-210.Cornell Green.
For a player WHO NEVER PLAYED A DOWN IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL-His accompihments playing for the Cowboys in the NFL are worthy HOF.
But be is not in the Ring Of Honor.
Look up his Cowboys career.
It's flat out wrong Green has not been selected.
He is not in the Cowboys Ring of Honor which is incredulous and makes his HOF chances low.
