Broaddus continues to mention how he’s heard that they hope Michael Mayer is gone when they pick so that makes me think they may be forced to pick him just because he’s there. Sounds like they prefer Kincaid.

Dallas has not traded up in a long time. I don't think they are going to change their course anytime soon. I can see them moving back but not up. Too costly.

Final prediction: Dal trades up mid 1st rd for Bijan Robinson.

This team needs more offensive play makers and Bijan will give Dal a shot in the arm like Zeke did his first few years. The FO has been quoted recently that they learned their lesson on drafting a RB in the 1st. Imo..I took that as, don’t draft a RB top ten, and you def don’t hand them a 2nd contract. That said.. what Zeke did in his first 5years was nothing short of amazing. Let’s roll that back.

I see a few Debbie Downers already. Must not be fun being miserable all the time.

I would not mind a slight trade down and get a few extra picks. I can see 9 players easily churned or added with a draft pick.

Bijan’s projections has been all over the map. I’m not suggesting Dal move up that far.. but if he’s available within a manageable range (17-23 picks), then I wouldn’t have a problem with it.

Honest opinion, I hope Dal stands firm and picks BPA at the end of tonight. My post is bias bc I think Bijan could have a huge impact on our offense. Which is the only reason why I’d consider a RB in the 1st.

To your point, Gibbs is fine and I think he’ll be a decent player. I just don’t think he’s at the same level as Robinson. To that, I wouldn’t draft Gibbs in the 1st. He’s too similar to Pollards game. I’d rather grab a day one starting LG and solidify the OL. Then draft a 3rd/4th round hammer of a RB to compliment Pollard.

Mayer I don’t know. He looks like a 2nd round talent to me and he’s a giant risk for being over drafted due to his terrible athleticism.

Kincaid looks like one of the best 15 players in the whole draft.

I feel like Jacksonville San Diego, and Washington would want Kincaid early.

Green Bay is a spot for Mayer to possibly go.

That’s my dream scenario. I’ve done a couple of Mock Drafts where I traded back and landed several players I like and filled every hole we have. I was so impressed, that I was like “this couldn’t really happen, right?”

I don’t want to trade out of the 1st and I don’t think Dal does either, as they value that 5th year option. But a scenario like 2013, where we traded back to 31(Travis Fredrick) and picked up an additional 3rd rd pick would be ideal.

This makes me nervous tho.. the 2009 draft of grabbing a grocery cart full of below average players is still embedded in my head tho. I know Will McClay won’t let that happen, but I also know we have hit some 1st rd duds. And it’s usually when we are picking late. That’s why I want to stand pat and pick BPA.. unless Bijan is close

Yeah I was thinking KC has a player there at 26th, and over pays a little bit, we get the 31st pick, and pick up a 2nd and 4th, but a 3rd would be asking for too much. I have not looked at the trade chart for the difference in value though. I don't think it is that high. But as I said... they want a player and over pay.
