ND TE Myers at 26
I’m not on the “1st rd TE train”, but I wouldn’t be mad if it’s Myers. I recognize he’s a top talent and could be a weapon in the offense. I suppose you can say, I’ve warmed up to the idea.

My question after that pick would be.. How are we going to solidify the OL ? Protecting Dak and creating running lanes is paramount for our offense’s success

Richardson it is then.
Yeah but they won't. Can Richardson slip though into the 2nd, as from things I read he is not really that NFL ready.
I really doubt they take a QB at all. Unless a 7th round pick. But may sign an UDFA to compete with Grier, then groom him to replace Rush and eventually Dak.
That is my current thought anyway.

I won't be mad if they don't select a QB, as I am not expecting that at all. Though they really need to.
edit...won't be mad UNLESS there is one there and they pass.

Hope Dallas gets a good one.

Final guesses. If you guess right a like from me.
For the 1st time in 48yrs I know nothing about the draft, have not followed any players or mock drafts, when my dad passed last year I lost all desire for it...I just hope we get a Dt,lb,ol,QB... happy draft day.

welcome back MC I see your time away hasnt helped with the weed addiction but you are entitled to your opinion. any trade up will be for a playmaker not at the QB position (robinson, or JSN from OSU). The QB you so desire will be Max Duggan from TCU in the 6th round or Aiden Oconnell from Purdue as they are the QBs I have heard the cowboys linked to.
Jerry said he liked Max Duggan so all bets are on. Jerry writes the checks, isn't that right?

Yeah, if that happens.. I’m out.

Bijan’s projections has been all over the map. I’m not suggesting Dal move up that far.. but if he’s available within a manageable range (17-23 picks), then I wouldn’t have a problem with it.

Honest opinion, I hope Dal stands firm and picks BPA at the end of tonight. My post is bias bc I think Bijan could have a huge impact on our offense. Which is the only reason why I’d consider a RB in the 1st.

To your point, Gibbs is fine and I think he’ll be a decent player. I just don’t think he’s at the same level as Robinson. To that, I wouldn’t draft Gibbs in the 1st. He’s too similar to Pollards game. I’d rather grab a day one starting LG and solidify the OL. Then draft a 3rd/4th round hammer of a RB to compliment Pollard.

If Robinson is gone, I am OK taking the Vols Tackle at 26 or like you said trade back, I just don’t want a TE at 26.

Mostly indifference, with mild curiosity.

I don't follow college at all, so really don't know who anyone is. And with a relatively late pick, that it really doesn't make one too excited.

Take a OL tomorrow. There will still be good ones drafted in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

(prob more hope than anything)

Final prediction: Dal trades up mid 1st rd for Bijan Robinson.

This team needs more offensive play makers and Bijan will give Dal a shot in the arm like Zeke did his first few years. The FO has been quoted recently that they learned their lesson on drafting a RB in the 1st. Imo..I took that as, don’t draft a RB top ten, and you def don’t hand them a 2nd contract. That said.. what Zeke did in his first 5years was nothing short of amazing. Let’s roll that back.
I say they are trading down into the 2nd if the coveted few players aren't there at 26 and get Avila and another top player on their board. so im guessing if they can trade that 26 for someone's else's 2nd and 4th that would be a good thing.

I'd rather they stay put - or slide down a little bit to pick Jahmyr Gibbs
