Happy with Carpenter at 18? A simple yes or no...

No. Had we traded down and still attempted to draft him then it would have been a much better pick but at #18 it was a reach. Then again considering our draft thus far it's been nothing but a reach.

I wanted Manny Lawson, but I am on the CARPENTER bandwagon now!

Didn't a Deadskins fan once say that we needed a "Chris Cooley Stopper", well I guess it's here.

Yes. Happy with not taking a "project" when we already have one in Ware.

I'll be happy with Carpenter depending on his impact. If he can't rush the passer and hold the OL accountable while Ware wrecks havoc, then I'll be happy.

If he's just another OLB ... then I'll be PO'd. LB's are a dime a dozen, and are often of marginal impact.

We've sent LB's to the Pro Bowl found on the 2nd day.

Wanted Lawson, but that would give us 2 weakside linebackers. Yes; in Bill (for linebackers) I trust.
