I never saw the channel (58015) listed in the Live Channel tab.

you can just type in the channel (58015) and click "enter"

type in: "Channel - 58015" without the quotes...or click the link he provided in the op

Sometimes mine actually connects to channel the says playing channel, then i guess the bar on bottom right of SOPcast is the buffer actually counts to 2 then it says cant retrieve data or some such.

yeah. i once got mine to 3. and then it couldnt retrieve the data

Actually, for sopcast, the more people that are connected, the better your steam will be.
