Just another player that was never developed with us. Dude had some great hands and ran like a rb but we never had a use for him. Kinda like Escobar now etc. If we loose the next two games they better get some of the young guys in at qb, lb etc etc.

I like watching him cuz he's on my fantasy team that counts return yardage

If we can't draft and develop players like Harris, then that's where I'd lay the responsibility. He's not such a good player that you had to resign him, but we needed a better plan to replace him than "nothing."

People are apparently not watching the game. This post was made in response to a punt return play. Why are you talking about harris the receiver? Hes still medocre in that regard.

He's actually scored as many TDs (6) as any two WRs combined on our team.
He's helping them a lot ....but that also says a lot about how bad the Cowboys are doing.

kills me to watch Harris making big plays every week...
Don't get me wrong, I loved some Murray but the loss of Dwayne Harris has been far more detrimental to this team :(

I agree 100 percent buddy. Most of the season we've had awful field position thanks to fair catch Beasley. Whitehead has some potential but he clearly wasn't ready. Starting inside the 20 over and over with an already struggling offense hurts.

Harris' value was always his almost unmatched versatility.
Any separate discussions about his
Gunner ability
Punt return ability
Kick return ability
WR playmaking ability
WR blocker ability

Miss the point and his value entirely

Yep, at the time what he signed for seemed like alot but it doesn't now. I thought if we had to decide between the 2 I'd rather have Beasley. I was wrong. I think it's hilarious that any fans of any our ncf east rivals talk crap about the Cowboys cause we get raided within our division yearly. We could put together a whole team with all the ex cowboys in the NFC east.

Thats false because Lucky wasn't even on the team when Harris left

What I was saying is people said we spent the DHarris money on Beasley but we were keeping Beasley no matter what.

We decided to let DHarris go and went to the ultra-cheap route of UDFA to replace him.

We could have kept DHarris, his cap hit was 1.8m this year.
