Looking at their regular-season schedule, the Rams have not played very many tough teams:

Week 1: Raiders - W 33 - 13
Week 2: Cardinals - W 34 - 0
Week 3: Chargers - W 35 - 23
Week 4: Vikings - W 38 - 31
Week 5: Seahawks - W 33 - 31
Week 6: Broncos - W 23 - 20
Week 7: 49ers - W 39 - 10
Week 8: Packers - W 29 - 27
Week 9: Saints - L 35 - 45
Week 10: Seahawks - W 36 - 31
Week 11: Chiefs - W 54 - 51
Week 12: bye
Week 13: Lions- W 30 - 16
Week 14: Bears - L 6 - 15
Week 15: Eagles - L 23 - 20

Week 16: Cardinals - W 31 - 9
Week 17: 49ers - W 48 - 32

Hardest team they played looks like the Saints? And they lost to them.

Next hardest, Bears? Lost to them too.

Next ones up, perhaps Chargers and Chiefs? Those appear to be shootouts.

I don't know what case I'm trying to make, but it appears they have struggled against good defenses.

Thoughts?

I posted this elsewhete.

Not worried.

For the last 10 weeks..

we have played playoff ball with our backs to the wall.

This will be a brawl.

They have been frontrunners and giving interviews.

They fight with knives and swords.

We get you into a brawl with frying pans, whips and guns.

Savey..?

Says to me they're an up and down team. Hopefully the week off got them out of sync...

They are a very good team and this will be a challenge— BUT we are peaking at the perfect time of year.

We have a great defense.
We can run the ball.
We limit turnovers on offense.
We are mentally tough

Those traits win you a lot of games in the NFL and are a great recipe for road wins in Jan and Super Bowls in February

They beat the Seahawks twice, the chiefs and the chargers.

That’s 4 wins against playoff teams. Which is not bad for a regular season.

Make no bones about it. The rams are a very good team. They can be beaten. But they they are a really good squad and Dallas is going to have to play their A game.

It's a winnable game. Hopefully they can decode that high flying offense like they did the Saints. I think losing Cooper Kupp was big deal for them.

I do too. Like the Saints, they're pretty thin in terms of playmakers, and really dependent on scheme. You pretty much can't scheme around the Dallas defense. For Dallas to slow down the Rams, they'll have to be able to stop the run without loading the box, and Chido will have to win some against Woods.

Goff has been regressing and is mentally weak, he will break under the pressure. He will have his confidence shaken when he comes out of the tunnel and sees and hears all the Cowboys fans in their own stadium. His blood will run cold when he realizes The Predator has a laser lock on him and sees Antwaun Woods-Shed coming busting up the middle and can't escape because there's a Tank barreling in to crush him to a gooey red pulp.

This is a winnable game but the Chargers, Chiefs and 2x Seahawks victories are all quality wins.Nobody wins by putting down - the Rams are a quality team.

We go there, play OUR style of ground game, keep them off the field and guess what.... they aren't blowing up with 30+ points against us. If nothing else, I know this, 1 if not 2 of the bye week teams will come out flat, it is always so. I predict 2 bye week sitters will lose this weekend, and 2 will win. My picks, cowboys win, Saints win, Pats win and Chargers win.
I'm a bit curl toed on the Saints game, but I never bet against Bress @ home.

How's Gurley's health?

Found something:

After spending two weeks without him, it appears as though the Rams will get Todd Gurley back for their playoff game against the Cowboys.

Rams coach Sean McVay said Sunday he anticipates both Gurley and safety Lamarcus Joyner will be able to fully participate in Tuesday's practice, per team official website reporter Myles Simmons.

Question is, is he healthy or just barely able to go? If he was held out because they just wanted to try to get him 100% healthy for the playoff run, then we should expect the Rams to be very tough...

Dude they beat San Diego, KC and Seattle x2. That’s 4 playoff wins and 2 of the 4 best teams in the NFL.

They’re really freaking good. Yes their defense is porous and yes this is preferable to playing NO in the Dome, but it’s gonna be the toughest game so far this year. We haven’t beaten a team of this quality on the road since the 2014 Seahawks game.

Their defense is not that good in my opinion.

Sure they have the DT's to match up with anybody but that hasn't stopped teams from scheming them out of plays for the most part.

If Zeke gets 30 touches and our offense can possess the ball for 35 minutes we will be in the game at the end with a chance to win.

Now is the time for our defense to take it to the next level and that's to start to create turnovers. It's hard to ask more from them because they are what this team has leaned on all year but turnovers are game changers.

Let's get it!

The Pats play the Chargers so that isn’t going to happen.
