they beat the chiefs and chargers, good try but point is they are more beatable against the better teams but who isn't , look at our record..

Chiefs, Chargers and Seahawks should be included as tough teams. All had double digit wins. I would say they have played more high quality teams than the Cowboys have. In any case, the difficulty in beating them has been that it generally takes outscoring them. They don't have many games where they were held under 30 points, and the Cowboys don't have many games where they scored over 30 points. We are going to need a big performance from our defense to win.
 
The X Factor in this game (good and bad) for the Rams is Goff. If he gets off to a slow start he is a relatively young QB and can get rattled.

I think if our defense gets consistent pressure and a sack or two on him early it will significantly affect his timing and effectiveness. It's sort of interesting that he beat the Chargers, who have a pretty good defense, but lost to the Eagles and the Bears who both have above average defensive lines.

I like this matchup better than New Orleans in New Orleans. Maybe Philly will do us a favor in that game.

The Rams have a really good team, but toward the end of the year their mortality seems to be showing a little bit like it did for us in Dak's rookie year. Believe it or not, I think Garrett will out coach McVay in this one, although Linehan will probably continue to be a rock around our neck.

The Rams were off last week, and we know how that can help, or throw your timing off.
 
I respect the rams...but they don't scare me.
I have felt since our win streak that our defense matches us up with anyone.
If we handle our business...we will beat the rams.
If we don't...we're going home.

This means nothing to me because for dang near every team unless they have a tough division and or its their year to play a hot division most teams only have 3/4 games against top teams every year. Hell look at who we've beat and it isn't murders row either just counting regular season.
 
Beat some good teams, lost to some good teams. Not a lot of definitiveness from this.

Not only did they beat the Chiefs, but they scored 54 points to do it. When is the last time the Cowboys scored more than 50 points? My guess would be in the 1992 Super Bowl against the Bills.

How is this a "miserable thread fail"? I'm asking the honest opinion of knowledgable fellow Cowboys fans about the strength of the Rams schedule, and specifically how they have fared out this season against better defenses? And it fostered some answers, which is what I was looking for...

Those traits win you a lot of games in the NFL and are a great recipe for road wins in Jan and Super Bowls in February

I'll be honest. I'm not very impressed with our defense the last few weeks. They got up and played great against the Saints and then got in the habit of collapsing in the second half. We won most of those games but not because of the defense.

Why did you not highlight 4 other games they played vs playoff teams...and won?
That was my point. You only highlighted the 3 losses when they actually also won 4

What stands out to me is the ton of points they give up. I know everyone talks about their high-powered offense but damn, looks like that more necessity than choice coz they can't stop anyone.

Yeah their LBing corp is a joke, their DL is over-rated aside from Donald and their secondary is worse than ours.

We go there, play OUR style of ground game, keep them off the field and guess what.... they aren't blowing up with 30+ points against us. If nothing else, I know this, 1 if not 2 of the bye week teams will come out flat, it is always so. I predict 2 bye week sitters will lose this weekend, and 2 will win. My picks, cowboys win, Saints win, Pats win and Chargers win.
