Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy was officially reinstated to the Cowboys roster Monday after serving his four-game suspension.

Defensive tackle Ken Bishop got waived to make room for him on the 53-man roster. Hardy joins a Dallas pass rush that has only six sacks through four games and should be itching to make a good impression with his new team when they take on the New England Patriots in Week 5.

Cowboys LB Rolando McClain reinstated after four-game suspension

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Rolando McClain was officially re-instated to the Cowboys roster Monday after serving his four-game suspension.

Linebacker Keith Smith got waived to make room for him on the 53-man roster. Assuming McClain has fully recovered from the knee injury that limited him in training camp, he should immediately slot into the middle linebacker spot for a Dallas defense that could be missing Sean Lee (concussion) against the New England Patriots in Week 5.

Looks like Lee will be ready for the Patriots game as well. This is huge.

We have one corner locking down his receivers, we are getting our best LB's back, and Hardy should at least bring more pressure. Sadly, they are all coming back against a QB with one of the quickest releases in the league.

And if we're really lucky, Gregory will practice this week.

I kinda skipped over the Gregory news in the article I read on the injuries expecting them to just say he'll be back after the bye. But yeah, if he gets out there and practices, our defense may actually start looking like a real defense and not a practice squad roster.

he could go to Strong side with Wilbur rotating at LDE

Yes, but can he play that position with minimal practice? I think I would rather that not happen so quickly unless he has been working towards this situation.

Hitchens goes to Sam, McClain to Mike, Lee stays at Will. Can't wait till it happens

Same here I think this might be the best part of this defense. All of them are extremely instinctual football players I can't wait to see what they can do

On top of that adding Hardy, Gregory and hopefully a caught up Irving, the extra pass rush should make Lawrence and Crawford better.
