On top of that adding Hardy, Gregory and hopefully a caught up Irving, the extra pass rush should make Lawrence and Crawford better.

The roation between Mincey, Lawrence, Hardy and Gregory is gonna be fun to see as well. Irving's debut was promising but hell if we're gonna get guys back might as well be against NE

This defense should have no excuses this week when it gets almost everyone back at full health. Even with Romo and Dez, we weren't gonna win a Super Bowl without a good defense. We haven't been a good defense lately. The excuse was we're missing a lot of players. Now the defense should have no more excuses.

My guess is neither one is going to be really effective coming in. McClain maybe, because last year he proved he could come in and be productive right away. But again, last year is not this year.
Hardy barely started coming on late in camp, and this is real NFL games not pre-season. Remember, he played all of 1 game last year right? Lots of rust there.
I say 2 games before McClain looks good, and Hardy 4.

Never did I think a player saying he hopes he does his job well (That's what his comment about Brady translates to) would be scrutinized. Skip and Stephen are morons.

What did they expect Hardy to say? Gush over Brady for 5 minutes? We didn't bring him in for that, we brought him in for his playmaking abilities and his attitude.

McClain came in and did pretty well under similar circumstances last year, you know missing a year, and most of training camp.
