Maybe Hardy and his attorney agreed not to fight it if reduced to four games. I would take the 4 games and let this be history.
So would I. I would take it and run.
If he wanted to fight it, he could file for an injunction staying his suspension pending the results of the court case. It would likely be granted.
I know, which makes it worse in my opinion. It just drags everything out. What if in the end he loses his appeal and that decision is made with 3 or 4 games left in the season? Instead of missing the beginning of the season he would be missing the typically more critical end of the season. That is a risk and something to consider.
Better than expected. Thought it would of been 6 minimum.
How about none? Seems fair.

assuming he accepts the 4 games, just looking at the schedule:
Giants @ home = divisional game, giants always play us pretty tough at home. Push
@ Philly = another divisional game, stomped them last year in Philly, don't see why we can't do it again.. plus I think Chip Kelly is a farce. Win
Falcons @ home = Win
@ Saints = Loss
I'll take 2-2, possibly 3-1 depending on the Giants game with no Hardy and no McClain

That's FAT.WAR!!!! TWO GAMES OR DIE!!!
I'm under the impression that the NFL doesn't have the right to suspend him more than two games due to to when the infraction occurred vs when the rule was changed that allowed for more than two games.
FIGHT!
