Goodell says the “closest parallel” for Brady is the discipline approved for a first violation of the policy governing performance enhancing drugs. In the written document, he states that “steroid use reflects an improper effort to secure a competitive advantage in, and threatens the integrity of, the game.”

With respect to cooperating with the NFL investigation, the scandal with Favre and Sterger is a closer parallel IMHO.

Actually a better analogy is "Yeah, I got caught doing 70 in a 65 MPH zone, but the other guy beat the crap out of a woman, so don't look at me, look at him."

Which kinda makes an awful lot of sense if you think about it.....

You want an analogy for Golden Boy using a car? He was in a hit and run, left the scene and had the car chopped up.

The Hardy situation has absolutely nothing to do with Tom Brady and the situations are in no way comparable. So it only makes sense to someone who is trying to change the conversation away from Brady.

Anyone else offended by a certain someone New Englandnizing Roger's name? What else do we need to know about what team he really is a fan of?
