Kind of surprised by the lack of talk about him. Some of you might think we are full up on current and future war daddies. (I dont) Taco is iffy at best depending on your point of view, huge year coming up for him. Lawrence is taking up 10% of the cap and has a back made of popsickle sticks. In a perfect world I would prefer a pocket collapsing DT but I think Harold is likely there at 19. If its me depending on the available options, I think he could be the guy. Opinions?

I think he might be liability in the run game, will only be a 3rd down pass rusher atleast initially.I dont know if you spend a 1st Rder on another DE though.

I think he is tremendous...but seems a better fit for a 3-4 to me.
Im not ready to give up on Taco.
Drafting Landry is about preparing for possibly losing DeMarcus Lawrence or David Irving.
I just see him more of a fit for a 3-4.

His bend/shoulder dip is a thing of beauty when you watch his tape.

Yes that is what a forward/ big picture thinking front office does but...............
if he is the pick at 19,I have no problem with that.
Its a better pick than some Ive seen...Id rather have Landry than a TE....or Taven Bryan.

The first tape i watched was horrible. He was consistently the 22nd guy off the ball. I then found his 2017 tape which was much better. I'm still not sure about him though. I'll put it this way. I don't see him as a being a refined enough product to take at 19.

They look at Leo types. Havent added one yet. I think he is combination of what Watt and Bowser from last year.

If we used him the way Atlanta uses Vic Beasley, I feel he could be an every-down guy.
Im intrigued.
He is similar to DLaw when we got him outta Boise St.
If we fail to sign DLaw to a long-term deal...he's great insurance....if we sign him...even better...gives us DLaw,Taco and Landry....helluva pass rush.

Nah, we have Randy Gregory. I kid. Landry would not be bad idea since my hopes of Edmunds, James, or Roquan Smith are slowly being diminished everyday.

Yup he definitely needs to be in the discussion. Could very well be the most talented player at a premium position left. Can never have too many pass rushers and Landry had potential to be a great 1. Will need to put 10 lbs of muscle on and learn/improve some pass rush moves, but his burst and flexibility is special.

Landry is a top 10 talent IMO, absolute stud.

His 2016 tape shows that, then the 2017 tape shows a guy play hurt, then he blew the roof off the combine.

He's been up and down as a prospect, but if he's on the board at 19 he'd give us the RDE we've been looking for . Run to the podium.

I'm skeptical on him. He has the athleticism but he might be soft. Pass rushers must have a relentless attitude and he might not have one.

Soft? I'd love to know why you think he's soft or if you've seen a legit scouting report showing that.
