So, I am checking out at Randall's grocery store in Houston and this young, cute register girl(looked like Katie Holmes a bit) asks me a simple question with no ill-will intended, probably didn't even know Dallas lost. She wonders if the Cowboys promote free stuff after home wins like a taco or a big gulp. I was wearing my Dallas cap.
I answer, "I am not sure but we may not find out this season either" kind of snickering. Well, here comes the peanut gallery from the guy in line behind me. How about those 4 interceptions, I think they lose more than 20 games this period. Those were his exact words.........
He goes on to say "just playing with ya, I am just glad we won our(Texans) first game in a year. I said "how about that, kudos to beating a really, really bad team at home". I asked who they played because I missed it, his response was "I think the Chiefs, they are red right?".
Just reinforces the fact that some people follow Dallas(hoping to see us lose) than concentrate on their own so-called teams
