Ok we've lost a lot of talent so far today... Harris, Durant, and (99% sure) Murray. I'd love to have them all three back.

We haven't "overpaid" for an FA in a long time and I don't see why we don't get a Hughes and maybe "overpay" just one top tier FA.

Wait, who signed Durant. Murray was obvious, and Harris is overrated (there are so few times I can really think of when he really made a KR/PR longer than it should have been, and these past two seasons he has been worthless as a WR) but Durant is a big loss.

murray goingto the eagles is a big deal guys. i think you have to overpay to prevent it.

Ummm no. You don't overpay for that position anymore.

And Durant is not a big loss. He has missed a lot of games these past few seasons and is 30. He never put it together. Need to get rid of these injury riddled guys.

And Harris was less and less effective as the year went on.

Durant - Falcons
Harris - Giants

It's still early but I feel like we should make a play at a "big fish" whether thats a Hardy or Peterson (when he becomes available, and he will become available). The patience game feels a little more like the complacent game

Honestly, it's because we still don't have any money. I know that's unpopular to say around these parts, but it's probably for the best anyway.

There isn't one of those guys that will be difficult to replace. Harris and Durant for sure and RB is the easiest spot to fill in the NFL.

I know a lot of people didn't want to hear it this year, but Murray left a ton... and I do mean a TON of yards on the field this season. He did so great that fans didn't want to believe it but he did.

His toughness and mentality will be harder to replace but it is the OL that the toughness starts with, and you notice the team didn't fool around with that and let any of them test the market.

Smart team.

Can we give Murray a bribe not to go to the Eagles? Would that count against the cap? LOL

Guys... Think about it. Overtime that Murray runs more than 40 yards it looks like he is going to die. How will he thrive in an up tempo attack? I like him, but he is suited for our offense better than what he is for the Eagles.
