- Brandon Aubrey's deal will get done.

- This is restructure week. Prescott, Lamb, T. Smith, Q.Williams, Osa will all get done. Clark will almost certainly get done too.

- The ties from Parker’s staff stretch far around the league, and the Cowboys are expected to lean on those connections in free agency.

- There are a lot of names on the draft board heading into April that could make sense with one of the two first-round picks. One name that I’m crossing off based on information this week: Tennessee cornerback Jermod McCoy.

- As first reported by ESPN, expect the Cowboys to place a second-round tender on guard T.J. Bass. There’s a fear that Bass and/or Brock Hoffman will find starting jobs elsewhere in the league. It just so happens Mike McCarthy and the Steelers are going to be searching for a starting guard this offseason.

- Don’t expect any big veteran cuts such as safety Malik Hooker and offensive tackle Terence Steele.

The list of FAs to monitor are fairly uninspiring. Was hoping the Cowboys would be more aggressive than that this season. Dean would be a very good player to bring in, but you certainly need to double down at LB in the draft or FA if you go that route. Depending on him to play 1000 snaps isnt a recipe for success.

Their mentality of signing 4-5 cheap players compared to 1-2 elite guys is frustrating

At this point I wouldn’t. His not participating in Indy is a red flag for me. I need more info and I need to see him run drills.

We made a mistake with Parker and we're just trying to make the best of it.

I wouldn't.
Don't need any more players coming off an injury. I don't care what they say. Look at revel, though he was worth the day 3 pick. He was supposed to be ready by TC. Had 2 set backs, and did not get to play until late in the season. And it showed he was rusty.

No red shirt for the future type players.

McCoy - Obviously because he missed the entire season with an ACL and Jerry said they don’t want red shirt seasons from draft picks

Eze - this is the defender mentioned. Labrum surgery and will miss the offseason. He needed the work and the weight room so this seems really bad luck.

Aubrey - Seemed pretty obvious they were going to sign him. All the stuff leaked about his $10m demand was completely unsubstantiated, he denied it, and now the team is sending the good vibe again. Business as usual for this front office

GP - same story. Nothing new here but Cowboys saying how excited GP is to be here and giving every indication that it will be on the tag. The “One Person” being GP and his willingness to take below market. Rumors from GPs camp that off season work wont happen on the tag, which is normal and expected in these situations

Free Agents - nothing shocking. All included mainly because there’s some connection to Parker in their history. This isn’t coming from the team just speculation
