Harrison and Dungy: Dumb and Dumber

Larry Brown said Romo is a problem to this team?

If only we had more problems like him.

He has said it all year, he wanted kitna to start after the denver loss.

He is worse than any of the national media guys on the pregame and when we lose on the postgame.

He was there for literally one evening and gone the next morning for a charity function. He then comes back and throws for 400 yards of which over 100 were to Austin.

Apparently without the Vegas trip Romo throws for 550, 250 to Austin.

Be careful, Romo's time to be the true goat of the game this December is coming.

I thought I read some where that his trip to Vegas was also for a charity event he committed to. Am I wrong on this?

I want to knock that street thug Harrison out. Jerome Bettis was better than you at being an analyst on the NBC show and he was terrible.

Considering Miles and Tony were two of our best players today, I'd argue that we should have sent the whole team to Vegas.

Why do you even watch?

If you dont like opposing opinions, no matter how wrong they are, turn off your TV dude. Seriously.
I also have every right to say their opinion is stupid.

Don't try to censor me.

As I said in the first line. I don't think they are simply saying the loss was on Romo. They were just pointing out (indirectly) that Manning and Brady didn't go to LV during a playoff run and that they had a problem with it. I do to.

Like when Brady went to NY?
If/when Romo get a SB ring then I'd say he could get the benefit of the doubt to take a trip. Brady has 3, he can do pretty much what he wants, he's earned it.

Tony Dungy: Cowboys should be concerned

I like listening to Tony Dungy's analysis on Sunday night. No yelling. No catch phrases, but he's really giving some pretty well-founded opinions. I know - that's such a change from things at the four-letter network - but, for me, it works.

Tonight, Dan Patrick asked him about the Cowboys and December. Dungy said the Cowboys should be quite concerned in the wake of this loss.

"You are starting to see the breakdowns of the past, big plays against the defense, break downs on special teams and the offense is moving the ball, but not delivering the knockout punch," Dungy said.

What watered things down a little, however, was Patrick asking Dungy and Rodney Harrison about Tony Romo going to Las Vegas 10 days ago. I still have no issue with a one day trip on a completely dead weekend. And it's not like Romo performed badly today with a career-high 392 yards, a 112.2 passer rating and a 75 percent completion percentage.

Both Dungy and Harrison, however, called the trip a mistake. Maybe from the general fan's perception, but did it really have an impact in that locker room? And if Romo was singled out, should not Miles Austin have been singled out, too?

I still believe Vegas is a non-story. But until the Cowboys have a convincing December, every action by every player on this team is going to be examined and re-examined.

You essentially implied in not so many words that I shouldn't gripe about thier opinions.

I don't have a problem with that. If they ever get some skins on the wall then they can freely without consequence or question take a trip like that.

For what it's worth...the Giants couldn't cover Roy Williams at all today. Guy should have had 3 TDs.

Unfortunately this will be the case.

Any mea culpas from the fans who savaged Mosley and Schefter for daring to pick NY, or is that down the memory hole?
