Depending on your definition of quality.... in the spectrum of "good vs bad" defense, I would definitely put them toward the "good" side. Not alot of bad defenses allow that few ppg

Chargers have not been held to under 20 points by anyone but Jacksonville. But 5 games in and everyone's numbers are inflated. Who has played enough good offenses to legitimately make a case in that department? Buffalo and thats it? You play who you're scheduled against, And Jacksonville's defense has played their schedule nearly as well as anyone in the NFL.

Because as far as I can tell that's the only difference between last year's Eagles and this year's team.

Dallas dominated Philadelphia in all 3 phases last year and I don't think Brown is THAT much of a difference maker. Diggs can easily lock him down.

Yeah, Hurts may have improved some and we may have lost Amari Cooper and Dak (for this game only), but the Dallas defense is probably even better than what it was a year ago.

I think Sunday's game is going to be very close and Dallas has a good shot to win as long as they continue to not turn the ball over.

They also added Bradberry, who is playing his tail off… They added that rookie DT who seems to be dominating when he’s in there… they added a DE/LB hybrid in Reddick Who is a poor man’s Parsons… They also added a very good linebacker, And a very good safety.

Teams can only ever be as good as the teams they played. If they’re playing “bad” teams then it’s how you played them. You don’t have to believe the Jags overall are good, but it’s silly to claim the Jags defense is bad because it’s humiliating teams every week.

I have seen Philly fans insist that the Cowboys defensive numbers are inflated due to going up against poorly ranked offenses. Yet they at the same time believe that all of the Eagles offensive numbers are legitimate and a valid picture of how good the Eagles are. Despite them going against poorly ranked defenses and having 4 of the teams they beat have losing records.
