Has AJ Brown really made the Eagles better than the Cowboys?

Because as far as I can tell that's the only difference between last year's Eagles and this year's team.

Dallas dominated Philadelphia in all 3 phases last year and I don't think Brown is THAT much of a difference maker. Diggs can easily lock him down.

Yeah, Hurts may have improved some and we may have lost Amari Cooper and Dak (for this game only), but the Dallas defense is probably even better than what it was a year ago.

I think Sunday's game is going to be very close and Dallas has a good shot to win as long as they continue to not turn the ball over.

Maybe few of their younger players improved from last year.
Looks like Hurts is a totally different player.

Teams can only ever be as good as the teams they played. If they’re playing “bad” teams then it’s how you played them. You don’t have to believe the Jags overall are good, but it’s silly to claim the Jags defense is bad because it’s humiliating teams every week.

The argument was never that Jcksonville’s D is better than Dallas’s, it’s that it’s not a good take to say you don’t know if Jacksonville has a bad defense
How do we know if Jags defense is good or bad through 5 games?

We have to accept relativity. What does it mean to be good? You’re better than most of the other defenses in the league. Based on how everyone has performed up to this point, that’s a safe argument to make.

I have seen Philly fans insist that the Cowboys defensive numbers are inflated due to going up against poorly ranked offenses. Yet they at the same time believe that all of the Eagles offensive numbers are legitimate and a valid picture of how good the Eagles are. Despite them going against poorly ranked defenses and having 4 of the teams they beat have losing records.
I’ve seen the same and it makes no sense to me.

It means you took advantage of crap. Then you face a formidable offense and wonder why they scored 30 points against you.

But until that happens, you can’t credit a team for it happening. Philly is probably the best offense Jacksonville will face this year, and we didn’t score 30. We’ll see how they do against the chiefs in a couple weeks.

Its funny cause Duk and Hurts same QB with same problem, they need all pro lines and both needed to aquire top ten WR for them to succeed. Another funny thing is Rush is succeeding without top ten WR.

Jacksonville is improving but inconsistent. They went out to LA and destroyed the Chargers then got shut down at home by the Texans.

yeah, just speaking solely on their defense. Their O is a whole other matter

But you scored 28 points lol…..how good are they if they let you and the Commanders throw on them?

You mean like how Rodgers needs Davante Adams and how Josh Allen needed Diggs? Or how Deshaun needed Hopkins? Y’all say outlandish stuff with no accountability.

We played Philly once last year. The second time doesn't count. We played them in week 3. Since then Hurts has an entire season of experience. In that game the Eagles didn't run the ball against us. Was it 3 run plays? They're going to be giving us a heavy dose of run this Sunday. Plus they have AJ Brown and WR Smith is no slouch either. This is his 2nd season. To me, there's a big difference between last year and this year. But I hope you're right.

we couldn’t throw on them, that was all on the ground during the leftovers of the hurricane if you remember. Hurts had a Cooper rush-Esque day in that. Jacksonville is allowing 16ppg despite those outings, and only 2 yards more than Dallas.

What made them better was their front office actually tried to improve in the offseason while ours just congratulated themselves on a perfect roster.

Yeah ok. Rodgers needed Adams? Maybe Rodgers made about 30 WR a lot of money in this league. Allen already doing the same. You are such a homer man, go hide under a rock when your boy gets back and we can't get the ball past the 50 till it's prevent defense time.

Hurts struggling to pass isn’t something new though of exclusive.

This just in. Davante Adams made Aaron Rodgers. Pay no attention to the Pro Bowls, All Pro, MVP and Super Bowl title that came before Adams.
